One thing Oviya has over Kona: It's an activated ability. I could see that being relevant with the cauldron in the Loot Soup decks people are building.

Bloodghast is an interesting piece for Pioneer. Not that it's necessarily competitive but builds of Black-Nykthos or Black Vampires might make a decent home for it.

It's 90% a multiplayer thing, but the other 10% is that you don't get trample if you're attacking a planeswalker or battle instead.

36:16 my problem with Radiant Lotus is that it's ability isn't a mana ability I can't use the Mana to pay for Esoteric Duplicator because it triggers first before i get the Mana

I also don't see the game breaking lines with Radiant Lotus. Trying to lay down artifacts, play it on curve, and follow up with some huge turn, while staying alive, just seems very unlikely. Not to mention that whatever huge thing you do the turn you tap out for this is going to have to be a single color of mana, because the Lotus only makes the color of mana you choose. So huge 2-color X spells like Doppelgang or WSR aren't possible unless you have a way to make a second color of mana. It'd have to be Outrageous Robbery or similar. A couple of considerations to make the card more playable are firstly we still have powerstones. There are some okay spells that leave behind a powerstone. Those can ramp out the Lotus earlier and are perfect sack foder. The other point is to try squeezing a little more juice out of the sack artifacts bit. Playing cards like Heaped Harvest or Carrot Cake that do something when they're sacked, or cards like Gleaming Geardrake or Detective's Satchel that care about sacking artifacts, can give you some extra value the turn you use the Lotus. And don't forget we also have an artifact land, Scene of the Crime, that can up the artifact count. At the end of the day though I just don't know what this does better than cheating Omniscience into play and making mana largely irrelevant.

You know what would be cool with oviya, in commander? My favorite = murganda prtroglyphs (and ruxa), and all the vanilla creatures that are artifacts. Build up your board, sit behind a wall of big artifact creatures, and let your opponents fight each other with trample.

Radiant Lotus Ramp to ME personally just means turn 3/4 OTK drop doubling season or innkeeper's talent (and fully level) + Vraska ult with hard removal shell around it and maps (or Ygra turning everything into artifacts)

I like the card: " Mendicant Core, Guidelight " Not really for standard though, for a kitchen blue/white artifact creature deck with 16 artifact lands that I'm buying. Then max speed seems utterly irrelevant, as far as I see max speed wont trigger before either I am dead, or my enemy is dead...

It's called Unstoppable Plan and it doesnt even have flash. Minus 1 for missed opportunity... This card is gonna be busted in standard with the blue Jewel, softer rocks and the few lotus that tap for 3 and 5 in the format with the new cycle and make dooders amd green mythic that makes 1/1 forests.

Unstoppable plan fits into a lot. Dimir poison, play it then have counters up at end of turn, it will see play. The entire set is just a dumpster fire of old art and repurposed cards, just garbage.
