You could be right. When the distorted memory chapter was out, the ending cutscene was Penny walking away from Georgie. Georgie then was turning infected but woke up. I think that distorted memories in Piggy happen when somebody has lost something important to them. Like how Georgie lost Penny to her being infected. Think about it, who did Pony lose to being scratched? It was Zizzy, and Willow lost her whole family, her parents were arrested, Daisy her foster mother had to go back to the military, and William ran away. You could be right.

Theory: When you "lit the beacon and summoned him" (him being Mr. Stitchy) you didn't actually summon him, you just teleported him. This is because he actually appeared in the Alleys chapter which took place before the Forest chapter, meaning he existed before and couldn't have been summoned twice. Then, you brought him to the other "beacon" and simply teleported him away, where he would eventually start his army of infected.
