Nice list! She didnt make the list, but Gem Qualita is my fav pitcher in the game. I threw my 1st perfect game with her. Have had some really fun pichers duels against the Moose with Gem vs Rihannon Cannon, too.

Alisha Woodrow was the toughest pitcher in the game for me. One year in franchise mode the Wild Pigs had Woodrow *and* Jovita Pulo as their top two starters. Had to face them in the first round of the playoffs: beat Woodrow 1-0 and Pulo 3-1 in extra innings. Every game after that was easy. I had Pulo during her age 40 season. She was past her prime but still had an *A-* rating. Pitched pretty well but didn't have a good won/loss record because I had a lot of trouble scoring runs. She retired at the end of the season. Never faced Slayer much because the Heaters play in the other conference. Had lots of problems with him whenever I played them though.

Kay Frequin is a monster. I get the drawback of only having 2 pitches but they are absolutely unhittable

KF is great on paper, but tbh I have found her very hittable and utterly unreliable as a closer.

Rallie was very close. I used the formula a while ago, maybe I'll dig it up sometime soon. I'd likely make some tweaks to it but it would come out similar to this

Liking the choices for the final list. Morris definitely was my bullpen anchor for my Sand Cats franchise as he paved the way for our title after 6 seasons. I'm surprised Manny Kays wasn't on the list as he's a solid ace in his own right. I think a good topic would be the best options for a franchise series amongst the SMB3 teams. Maybe I'm exaggerating in my rough estimate, but those top pitchers seem to cost more than most of my team combined, LOL. There were a few chances for me to acquire Alisha Woodrow, but she was asking for so much that I had to wait a few rounds for her to lower her asking price. I got greedy and waited too long and I lost the opportunity. So now I'm spending my season with a lot of intensely stressful pitching moments with my Herbasaurs pitching rotation. My relief pitching is mediocre LOL, because Chuck Filthworth retired and I had to adjust. At least I got Gem Qualita, in which has a massive strikeout count.

Qualita is great! Keep in mind I'm was going for ranking the absolute best here; if I was ranking value for franchise it's a whole different discussion! Sometimes it's better to pass if the price isn't right

It was, I factored in the quantity because it allows for more mix ups. Ace was definitely among the next tier down!

I played in only Franchise mode, just watching AI vs AI. It really doesn't seem like there is any consistency at all in terms of how the pitchers (or hitters for that matter) perform there. I've heard people say lower velocity helps in AI vs AI, but even that doesn't really hold up. Not sure if you have done much AI vs AI but I would be interested to see who puts up the best stats that way - or if it's like I experienced, pretty much random.

I have not watched much. Usually the league leaders statistically are among those I would expect - in mostly simulated games, because I only play the games for my team obviously.

I think Gasser Morris might be the best overall pitcher as far as the AI's go. He's already solid enough as is, but whenever his trait kicks in he is an absolute NIGHTMARE to bat against.
