Thanks for the Video. Planned in last minute and visited Chikmagalur on 27-28 May 2023. The trip was amazing and I could cover four major places and every one of it is a feast to the eyes with breath taking views and adventurous rides. I couldn't visit Mallandur for sunset but I decided to go for sunrise before returning to Bangalore and it was absolutely worth it. This is the ideal plan as per my experience Day 1 - Mullayangiri peak, Jhari falls, Baba budangiri and sunset in Herekolale lake Day 2 - Hebbe falls, Z point trek and Mallandur sunset. For Hebbe falls you better reach before 9AM. Need to wait for your turn for the Jeep ride and it is 590/head above 5yrs and it is worth the money as there was enough water when we visited.

There are no restrictions for your own vehicle to reach the location. There is no rule issued either by the govt authority or by the property owner to reach the location only by the jeep. As this is a off road people having an off road vehicle they can easily reach jeep is just an optional, jeep people just gimik the tourists to loot the money of 800rs for a jeep comprises 5 people its about 1.5 km easily reach by walk. Two wheeler vehicles can easily go through this road and have a safe journey don't get looted by the cheap gimik people and simply don't loose your valuable money

Just visited this Jhari falls yesterday, pls don't attempt to take your own vechile just to save 800 you'll end up spending more. the roads are completely washed off may be due to monsoon or you can say literally there are no roads at all, only a 4*4 vechile can pull it off bcz most of the places have become like craters. Off course they are looting but that little drive was adventurous

@SakreCubes i came back from chikmagalur yesterday. Yes it is damn hot during the daytime and cool in the night. We could see fair amount of water in all the waterfalls. And for food near the places of visit, cant expect hotels. Only small eateries with maggi, juice,omelets.. we took bread packets for lunch. In kadur town, there is a very good hotel. In chikmagalur toen too

Thanks Abdulla. Mysore would be nearest to Chikmagalur. It should be a 4 hour drive. If you are looking something even closure, then checkout Madikeri, Coorg. It is an amazing place nearer to Mysore (2.5hrs drive)
