I used to live in Hull, it's a great place with friendly locals. Beverley just down the road is wonderful on a summer day.

The Maritime Museum was being refurbished so may not be reopened yet. It misses places out too, among them would be... The Streetlife Museum is one of the best museums there. Hull Fair is very famous, on for two weeks a year. Humber Bridge Country Park is right next to the bridge, nice wooded area. Hepworth's Arcade still has the old joke/prank shop. Theatres such as New Theatre and the famous Hull Truck Theatre. Just outside of Hull, the Yorkshire Wolds, Beverly Westwood, Spurn Point.

I live in Hull and I can whole heartedly tell you now it’s an awful city with little to no redeeming qualities. The streets are filthy, crime is rampant and half the people you see are on drugs. There are even certain districts such as Orchard park where buses don’t go to anymore because of the amount of people that would throw rocks at them. Save your money and go somewhere worth visiting 👍

Hull like many cities has problems but over all it ranked the worst and a lot worse now than the Goebbels (in Scotland) with which it used to be compared with. The people have a reputation of being lazy and work shy. It is run by organised crime. It also has the UK's dodgiest police force. Drug and alcohol abuse is the norm. Companies avoid employing Hull people. In breeding is a serious problem. Go into the wrong pub and you could get stabbed. Witness intimidation and jury nobbling is very common. If organised crime doesn't like somebody they will intimidate them, smash windows, follow them around, hack their computers, jam their freesat and free view channels. The criminals will even expose their victims to high pitched noises and steal their cars. There are good people in Hull. Hull was once considered to have been Europe's largest open prison. If you do come to Hull there is plenty of street entertainment, people poohing and urinating in the street. Drug abusers people openly injecting drugs, even between their toes. Shop lifters being chased by security staff. Shop security staff being chased by shop lifters and fellow criminals. When the security staff get caught, the criminals beat them up. Seeing police in the streets is a rare event. If you do see any Police just shout "stop thief""and they well runaway to the nearest police station. If you go to national fast food restaurant don't be surprized to hear an alarm go off telling some people to leave because of fighting, drug dealing etc. The best museums and galleries are situated in and around the city centre.

Bravo Duncan!..From which Utopia do you hail?..I gather from your rather bold statement you are not a resident of the city or one of the Inbred children so eloquently describe,However I must pull you up on some of your more outlandish statements and explain to you in the most simplistic way possible about Hull, It's people and your fascination with organised crime.Firstly Hull may be compared to the Goebbels because both areas where gripped by poverty. The reputation about being work shy is quite easy to live up to when there are no meaningful jobs available.Watch a few videos of the Hull fishing industry just to alter that view once and for all.In breeding?..Maybe during the dark ages and the odd freaks you can find anywhere (just ask your mother). There are criminals wherever there are people, regardless if it's some Grimy politician getting his Sniff from his Dealer in Mayfair or some Spice head looking for his next hit so he can shit on the pavement in peace..This is EVERYWHERE! Your analysis of the Crime issues seem a tad exaggerated..you must be some having some kind of flash back/Hallucination due to watching too many day time American cop shows. As for the violence in pubs you could experience it for your self just by repeating what you wrote here!..Now run along you silly Twat.
