Dinobeemon looks like something went wrong when XV-Mon and Stingmon merged. Is that an alternative version? If so, how is that a plant? looks like a bug dinosaur abomination. Are there Water Digimon in the game? Would be nice to fill the Attributes

Yes, dinobeemon is an alternative jogress of stingmon and xv-mon. And most of the bug digimon are considered plant a tribute in these games Something similar was done in previous "story" games were insect and plant was shared type And yes, there are some water in here

That’s correct. That type of Support Skill is essentially useless in competitive battles.

How do piercing skills exactly work?

Piercing skills directly does damage to the target while ignoring the target's DEF or INT stats. Damage = ATK or INT x Multiplier The "Multiplier" depends on the description of the skill. "Medium" is x1; "Strong" is x1.8; "Extra-Strong" is 2.5. The resulting number is the calculation for a neutral hit; if the piercing skill is neither resisted nor super-effective. And for a final bit of variation, the resulting damage is randomly between 95% to 105% of its original value.
