No they just rated them higher. The best player in FIFA 2004 is Ronaldo at 98, but Messi and Ronaldo never got above 94. I don't know what the point of a rating system is when you're saying in the modern era that no one is better than 94, their old rating system made more sense. Like in Madden where you have the '99 club' and it's an actual thing to get rated at 99 overall, it's just saying 'you're the best in the game this year'

In Fifa 2000 there are no OVR 90+, players have 10 stats value from 1-7. Ronaldo OVR is 61. Once again you put some random numbers 90 and more.

In FIFA 2001 once again there is no OVR 90+, you make random numbers and list is all wrong. Also, there is two version of stats, one is on PS1 and one is on PS2. In both versions Rivaldo is the best players, but the rest of the list is different. On PS2 the list is 1. Rivaldo 52, 2. Hagi 51, 3. Scholes 51, 4. Viera 49.... on PS1 the list is 1. Rivaldo 63, 2.Hagi 65, 3.Popescu 61, 4. Ronaldo 59....

I would really want to know where did you find this numbers and how did you get overall number in early games like FIFA 96 where there was not overall value? Let's take Maradona for example in FIFA 96. If we stay with your stats and combine all 14 together is 1316 divide by 14 is 94. So even that is not your overall number 96. Another example is Fifa 98 RTWC, where George Weah is second best player in the game by value and stats and you don't have him even in top 10. I know this was hard work and many hours to make this but there is to much errors to be relevant list.

However, Marco never won the world cup (and in fact never even played for the Italy national team). He was not a "great" footballer. Which leads me to ask again why is Marco Rossi (if indeed it is meant to be that player?) considered a 97/100 player and the #1 player in the world in 96-97, according to FIFA?
