Makes the tournament far too large, making the style of play turn from trying to win the game to top the group, to trying to draw and get any point as you get get through to the knock out stages by finishing 3rd of 4th. Having smaller countries in the world cup doesn't make it better, it makes it worse as you get a complete clash in quality and it creates boring matches.

Because you think PSG is poor compared to West Ham ? First of all, he was in Marseille so he would have never signed for PSG. Plus between being probably sub in Paris and a key piece of the team at West Ham, he chose the club where he could play the most. I don't call that being greedy, I see a guy who wanted to play football. And it's the same now, I think he wouldn't mind not being paid during his strike since the only thing he wants is coming back to Marseille and he accepted to lower his salary to do so.

I think you can forgive him for wanting to leave a past-it club with no league title since he was born in order to join a growing club with five titles in six years. Plus Pellegrini was a much more attractive prospect than Brendan Rogers, and he knew Guardiola was coming, and he would get to play with Aguero, Silva and probably De Bruyne too. And play Champions League Football. And... you know.. actually win trophies. I doubt money had much to do with it. Especially right after being so close to winning the league at 19 and then his teammates fucking it up.
