I grew up at Khunti and have seen poverty in the tribal community very closely. Some of my high school education I got was in North Bengal and Bangalore. I got my college education in Pune and after graduation in 1981 I left India in search of opportunity to have higher education in the West. I did my MA in England and did my MBA in the US...then I did my doctoral studies in the USA. But all my education were financed with my own enterprise started myself in Scandinavia. I operated my own import business and did my studies in Britain and USA. ... it is very very unusual thing for a tribal youngman from Jharkhand. I lived, studied and did business in several countries in Europe and America...and saw much and learnt much which I could not have learnt in any university in the world. I find it very strange to hear that the employment in Jharkhand can be created by capitalists from other parts of the country or abroad. Many big businesses have started their business in Jharkhand but most of their workers also came from other parts the country bringing about a demographic change to the disadvantage of the tribals. Employment can be created by what is in Jharkhand itself. Farmers have huge land in the tribal community and they can be upgraded in farming. Farmers can be as rich as the rich farmers in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Machua or a fisherman in Iceland and Norway have much money live a good life with high standard of living. Jharkhand is rich not only in minerals and natural resources but also in human capital but what is important is to teach the people to better in their profession in their own way in their own villages. This will empower the poor at the grassroot level. All I see in the West is possible in Jharkhand but development has to be defined in the context of Jharkhand and adapt the ideas, knowledge, know-how and expertise from the West for the benefit of the people of Jharkhand. The Caste system has has had a detrimental effect on development process and it is said that only industries and big businesses can change Jharkhand, but the real development should start at the grassroot level otherwise demographic change will continue with industrialization to the disadvantage of the tribals in Jharkhand.

Jharkhand is most corrupt state where Corruption is top agenda of all political parties since inception of state in 2000. Unfortunately this state is always ruled by incompetent, illiterate & useless politicians who recklessly looted this state. BJP lost this state due to corrupt & worst governance by past BJP leadership . None of opposition parties have capability to win assembly elections but this has happened due to gross failure of BJP top leadership who always installed useless & corrupt leaders as CMs & ministers who failed to make tangible progress in this state in one & half decades. BJP has still no able & competent leadership to lead this state. The future of people is very dismal & bleak who are forced to live in poverty & backwardness in future also.
