All 3 of those are GREAT! There were so many blues I wanted to include but just couldn't fit them in, cPerseus and Toon Richard were definitely high up on the list. Toon Magni is great also just not on the level of Toon Richard imo

@combonator85 I've pulled glass Richard now and Glass Vivica. The toon portal is the one portal I seem to pull the 5 stars, I have none of the other heroes in any of the lists you've mentioned apart from costume hathor. I simply cannot keep up and the free pulls don't seem to bring much luck

Cao Cao definitely belongs in this list, but I think it's also fine for him to be at 10. Defense is where he shines most, so if you just look at defenses, it looks like he's better, but obviously a slow hero is kinda tricky to incorporate on offense. I wouldn't put Fizzcoil in there. Fast hit-alls in general have severely suffered from 5* troops and his wither isn't quite enough to make up for that. Still a good hero, but more around 20th for me. I don't like Verity that much because to really use her to her fullest potential, you'd need some other good 6-tile hitters to pair her with, which there aren't a lot of (Siofra, Firmin Richard, CPerseus with a magic troop+bard). However, her special still kinda holds up compared to fast hitters, so her being very fast instead of fast can be regarded as more of a nice extra. Fergus is on a lot of defenses right now because he's shiny and new and a pretty good tank, especially for Bloody. However both slow speed and direct mana reduction are generally better on defense than on offense. So I think whether he belongs in this list at all is pretty much entirely dependent on whether he can establish himself as a top tank. Chang'e is amazing, but I don't think she should be on this list. She's not that good on defense anymore (unless you go in unprepared, but by that metric every obscure hero is good on defense and Chang'e was part of the meta for a while, so most high-level players should still remember what she does) and she's more of a specific counter, for example against Bearnadette. If you don't have a particularly deep roster and have to choose between prioritizing her and a more broadly useful hero like one of the average toon hitters, I don't think she's the best option. Btw her effect doesn't reset with healing, idk where you got that from. Loki is the best counter to the current meta tank and at least kind of applicable just about anywhere, so I'm absolutely not surprised he's that high up ;) A much better argument for going defense on Loki is that you'd usually want to copy more defensive specials. He still casts the specials with his own stats, so if you copy a strong damage dealer, he's gonna do way less damage than that hero would anyway because he doesn't have as much attack, so you're usually better off looking for specials that are powerful regardless of stats, e.g. Bearnadette or Ludwig. Whitefang is on defenses a lot these days, mostly because the healing reduction passive makes it harder for the attacker to recover and he does more than the other foxes that have been released so far. His special still isn't that good though, so I wouldn't put him quite as high up. I've always had a soft spot for mana boosters, so of course I agree with Nautica in the Top 3. She indirectly buffs any slow blue hero because she can just charge them in 9 tiles. Similarly to Fergus, People put Hrothgar on their PvP defense because he's shiny and new, which doesn't necessarily mean he's actually their best option. Don't get me wrong, he's definitely good, but not quite as good as he may seem. All in all, he's a strong hitter with good stats, so he's definitely good, I wouldn't necessarily put him at #2 though. I do agree with Grimsteel in 1st. Still one of the top tanks, good on offense and a great mythic titan hero, just an amazing hero to have. I personally don't struggle against him at tank all that much, but the defense statistics don't lie. Costume Perseus is Top 3 in my opinion. Along with Guardian Hippo, Anne, Rochefort, Xiwangmu, Cennius, costume Zhuge Liang and costume Hulda, he follows the tradition of me pulling a hero and taking a couple weeks or months to realize how insanely fucking lucky I was. Weirdly enough, I haven't felt particularly satisfied with any of the heroes I said were in #1 in my comments for this series so for. Idk, maybe it's that these decisions are even less clear cut than they were a couple years ago and I tend to see things negatively sometimes (Demilune isn't THAT good on defense and I barely get to recommend him for MTs because everyone and their mom has Darkfeather, Astrid's special isn't that great, Grimsteel isn't that good on offense without a mana boost).

Great points made! - It's funny what you said about Verity, someone commented they would put her top 3 and they have them, so different playstyles definitely a factor - What you said about Fergus is spot on, definitely a defensive hero, I almost had him off the list but considering SO MANY top 100 defenses have him hard to ignore that factor - The thing I said about Chang'e's effect resetting if healed was pulled from the E&P forum page for her. That info isn't always 100% accurate as buffs/debuffs happen so I'll check with someone who has her, thank you for point out though - cPerseus was on the bubble for me. I have him and I love him, very useful offensive hero

@@combonator85 Verity Top 3 is kinda valid actually, if you're playing outside of the Top 100 you'll probably face defenses with "bad" troops where you can get away with more, so some of the heroes that don't deal enough damage from a Top 10 perspective actually gain a lot there, especially very fast heroes. I recently played a bit of PvP at a cupdropping level with Hippo CPerseus Tethys Agnes Garyas (Agnes is unleveled, she dies from slash attacks and gives the fast blues enough mana to be charged in 6 tiles because of Garyas's bard bonus) and as long as the fast blues kill a side, this team is just amazing because it's charged in 6 tiles. Come to think of it, Agnes strats might be very applicable even at the top with fast bards...

Toon Richard is so beefy, I find most of the 5* toons more difficult than they seem, especially if their passives fire often. I took costume Loki on your outfitter recommendation, so I finally have a hero on one of your lists, lol. Grimsteel makes sense, he practically won your recent war flag on his own!

So I got lucky and just pulled white fang. Question for you: is the 50% less healing only last while white fang is alive? Also, would you replace daroga with white fang on your A team? Thank u for the video.

Congrats! Ironically I just pulled Whitefang this morning as well lol First question - yes, the 50% healing is only while Whitefang is alive which is why you always see Whitefang on a wing for other people's defense. Second question - Really depends who else you got, but on paper I would say Whitefang is more useful on defense than Daroga... better stats, the 50% healing is clutch, and the everlasting frost is very annoying and forces teams to bring a cleanser. As far as offense goes I would say that Whitefang has the ability to single handedly take out a team if you use him against the right team... No toons, monks, or cleansers. If you are strategic in who you bring him against you could literally bring him, 2-3 healers/support heroes, and maybe one other sniper/hit 3 hero and the once the frost goes off it'll be hard for the other team to survive so long as they don't kill you, which is why I would bring multiple healers/support heroes. At least that's my plan for him lol

Fergus is criminally underrated on this list. Most of the top 20 have him becasue of his tanky stats, which means tanky mega minion who does insane damage and bleeds.

Maybe I rated him too much as an offensive hero, because he isn't nearly as good for offense as he is for defense. But yea I did notice a lot of the top 100 have him on their defenses, and many at tank. Great defensive hero for sure.

One of my alliance mates has a Satori tank and surprisingly, neither 7 Days Departed nor Gipsy Danger have managed to not fail against him. I saw one of the fails though and they just took a team with 3 dispellers and got punished for it, so I guess the only thing it proves is that obscure defenses can be just as good as good defenses because people don't tend to have pre-planned and extensively tested strategies for those.

@unholywarrior9007 Yes he's a pretty good tank. But if you have Bearnadette, you should definitely run her in every mode except Equalizer, and especially in Rush. Bearnadette in Rush is the most deadly tank that has ever existed in this game, the only one that comes close is Treevil in 3* Rush before his nerf when there was no Zarel and no LB2 Shrubbear.
