I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

i know the carno has already gotten a tlc but i would love to see it have more use other than its bleed ability that just gets replaced with thyla bleed ~10 levels later. but im probably just biased because i have good memories of the carnos from watching ark in its early days (iballisticsquid being my favorite.)

There are two creture variants that are unobtainable, the R-Direbear and the Tek Giga. While perfectly functional, they just don't spawn anywhere unless you screw around in the configs. (Aberrant Megalania used to be one as well, until Fjordur added a spawn in the Hidden Grotto cave)

Unless you have a mod (like KBD) the Tek Giga is buggy, and will sometimes disappear from inventories (Soul/Cryo) on server restarts.

@Raasclark I was in a tribe on an official cluster and we had a slick way to tame noglins. You need 7-11 void wyverns and put them all in bear traps in a semicircle. Then trap and knock out the noglin. Knocking out the noglin drains it’s hunger bar to near zero. When the noglin wakes up. Open the 1x1 box the noglin is in. The noglin should go straight for the first wyvern then down the line till it’s tamed. We have had so many noglins we were trading them with other tribes

I've actually had more than one Titanosaur spawn on several of my maps. I noticed they spawn very frequently on the center in the redwoods and on the island I find them towards the east closer to green obelisk. It's funny seeing them spawn in too. Just some huge thing falling from the sky 😂😂😂.

The spawn cap is technically 3 (on multiplayer servers) even though I've seen 4 up a few times on private servers. Crystal isles seems to have an increased respawn rate on them as well, they where always an amazing source of XP for Giga's/otherbigdinos back when I played on it and respawned very quickly after killing one.

You can't even find one with already 100% taming effectiveness, you'll have to use your tames, and allow the Desmodus pick up that said tamed creature in order to increase taming effectiveness, kinda like Bloodstalker though

@@p3wp3wCthulhu Trap it. Use a standard stone gateway trap (a few gateway's lined up with spaces between then, with doors at the ends), then "feed" it Daeodon's. It's the largest pet they will pick up, and Daeodon's have a crapload of HP. Get it to 100% effectiveness, then substitute yourself for the piggy, and rinse/repeat. Very easy.

yeah I'm not sure if you read what I wrote but they have a tendency to go into fleeing animation at about 90 -95% lately and wont pick the tame up. Doesn't matter what tame it is. I have successfully tamed them, but not lately. When last did you tame one? @@Deamia

@@p3wp3wCthulhuAbout two weeks ago. I go near the "dwarf" cave entrance near the volcano, lure a high lvl desmo into a cage, and dump a high hp piggy into the cage. Once it's @ 100%, i get the piggy out, put myself in with bloodpacks and get as much of the taming % as I can. Then back to piggy, and rinse/repeat until it's fully tamed. It's worked like this ever since Fjordur came out. If it's bugging out, de-render it. Go out of render distance then return and most AI issues are solved. I've never had issues with it fleeing in a cage and to my knowledge no one else has on my server either.

I've only ever seen one legit Liopleurodon. I saw the sparkles and was highly confused until i looked up what it was. When i came back with honey, it swam away and disappeared.😭 I have mods thats make them normal tames, so its been a while since I've found another vanilla one.

Spawn cooldown is the one thing we don't know about official servers, as it's in the server config file that we don't have access too, we have to guess respawn timer for giganatosaurus, titanosaur and rhyniognatha

I remember getting an absolute beast of a zombie wyvern during the final fear evolved accidentally levelled it up too far and couldn't use it anymore and then my save file got corrupted and i lost the wyverns

It took me 2 years to find and tame a unicorn on Rag, (which is the best place to do so for one reason, the spawn area is easy to scour from above). I built on the exact spawn point of one. I did loads of research, even started a q and a thing on the Ark communities queue, and only found out that BUILDING near the spawn point of anything messes with its spawn rate. I had to dismantle an enormous base and was pretty bummed about it, but I got one, learned you have to transfer onto a console or another ark all together, and another one will spawn. I've been farming them ever since. I abandoned a mutation project but I should start that up again.

I feel like tropeognathus is hard enough to be on the list. Definitely at least the honorable mention. I tried to tame a 130 by myself, on vanilla pve server, and it killed me twice, and I almost lost some tames of a tribe that had accepted me in. I gave up on it as a pipe dream to actually need a tribe or just be better at the game.

Had no idea Rhyniognatha was a rare spawn when I first played. I was flying back to base over the swamps and thought that there was just a bug chasing my Ptero.. nope, it was just so huge that it was messing with my depth perception. Terrifying. Also ran into a unicorn not too long afterwards but it was on Carno Island and I had no way of taming it. I dunno if I have bad luck or good luck sometimes with this game 😅😂

the rarest r the zomby wyverns lvl 370 they can only be found at lvl 1 during the event but 4-5 yrs ago they were extremly high lvls i had them on official as a clone from someone who tamed one during the event 5yrs ago and one of the ones i had was a blue one and i would say a event colored high lvl zomby wyvern is the rarest creature to get in the game

I’m playing on extinction rn and through maybe 12 hours in game time not one alpha has been seen I’ve also had horrible levels so maybe I’m just unlucky

@@vkaap6480 on extinction theres only two types of alphas the trike exclusive to red osds as far as I know and the tek rex alpha variant which is seen very common in purple osds wave 8 or above and one infinitely spawns at the very back side of the map near the snow biome bubble as for the low levels extinction has some of the worst level spawns in all the story maps

I encountered three noglins in Rockwell's Garden but not the Innards. I was killing spiders and snakes so I could tame r-dilos when one attached to my giga and made it kill me. Two more would not buzz off and let me tame stuff Big asterisk on the "can be cloned" for the rhynio. Cannot be cloned if over level 82, because Wildcard are jerks

Only just started playing again after years. I spawed in on the island bottom right and there was a unicorn and I killed it thinking it must be a new thing added and be common 😢
