I have very fond memories of Crusader Of Centy. I rented it when it was new and then I bought a copy for around $50 a few months later. I even found the hint book at some random drug store that sold game strategy guides (I also bought strategy guides for Chrono Trigger and Super Mario Bros 3 from the place.) Eventually a few years later I sold my copy along with Shining Force II and Master Of Monsters (I started fazing out of loving RPG games so I sold some of my collection.) I wish I didn’t sell my copy since it’s worth so much money now sadly. Thankfully I still have the hint book laying around somewhere. The game itself was amazing and I really liked the music. The only other game on this list I had was The Punisher (I only bought it because it came with a tattoo). I didn’t really enjoy it but I gave it to my brother a few years later and he still has the game. I used the tattoo and if I recall correctly, I wore it to school the next day and almost got in trouble. I have played Skeleton Krew on an emulator website and I will admit it’s amazing but I wish it had a little more content like you said. It’s also worth noting it came out for the Amiga CD32 (Only in Europe though since that system never came to the USA.).

Considering the price of the cartridge, Crusader of Centy is the number one RPG that I wish had been included on the Sega Genesis Mini (although, yes, I know you can hack the Mini and add it, which is probably also true for any other Genesis or Mega Drive game except for Virtua Racing). One minor correction, the original Splatterhouse was never on the NES or Famicom, it was an arcade game that was ported to the NEC PC Engine/Turbografx-16 plus the FM Towns Marty and PC.
@moonshinegaming3 жыл бұрын
You’re right! It slipped my mind that it was only on turbo-graphx for some reason I thought it was on NES. Crusader of Centy would have been a great addition to the Genesis mini, especially with the price for it these days it would have been a good way to be able to play it without emulation or ROM hacking. Thanks for checking out the video!!

@@ostiariusalpha Or is the version of Virtua Racing you have running the 32X version? I see on Reddit that people have managed to get the 32X version to run on the Genesis Mini. They can emulate the 32X hardware in PicoDrive?
@ostiariusalpha3 жыл бұрын
@@SteveBrandon I have both. I store all the 32X games together on a flash drive that I play on the mini console through an OTG connector on the back. Sega's SVP chip and Nintendo's FX chip were fast back in 1993-94, but nowadays their considered slow as molasses. While the mini's native emulator, the _m2engage_ core, isn't set up to run the SVP chip, there are several other cores that are; _Genesis Plus GX_ emulates it almost perfectly. And yes, _PicoDrive_ emulates 32X pretty well.
