When you live with someone that long, I don't care who it is, they're going to get on your nerves at times. There will be fights and arguments, especially with the stress of kids, family, a job and life in general. It depends on what the arguments are about and how you treat each other during them. Most people who really love and care about each other do fuss over stupid things. I'd rather our arguments be about me moving his stuff or him not picking up his garbage than more serious problems like an affair. To think that life will always be a fairytale and that 2 people will always get a long is a fantasy that just doesn't exist.

While it can be argued Deborah may have some control issues that may need her to feel like she’s in charge all the time, the only time she ever really loses her temper is when Ray is doing something stupid, inconsiderate, or apathetic. Like the wedding video that he taped over. Or his refusal to help Deborah around the house when she needs it most. Or when he didn’t react to her choking. Or even the time that he committed the cardinal sin of dismissing Deborah’s issues by playing the PMS card. Was her anger excessive? Arguably, yes. Was it unjustified? No, not all the time. And given how common these scenarios are, it is often hard for her to not get more angry each time. But this is something that’s not uncommon in even the healthiest of marriages. This is especially true when both spouses come from two completely different backgrounds, such as Deborah coming from a more disciplined upbringing while Ray was often coddled and could virtually do no wrong in the eyes of Marie.

Here’s my take. Debra CHOSE to be a housewife. She chose to be home all day while Ray goes to work. She shouldn’t need so much help with the household chores when she has all day to do them. Help with the kids is different of course, but it’s her own fault for being so scatterbrained and faulty in her own duties that Marie has to come over and do it all for her. Lock your damn doors if you can’t stand Frank, Marie and Robert coming over all the time and get a job as a janitor while you’re at it since you obviously don’t know how to clean.

Seriously everybody's saying that Debra is carrying all the weight in the house. But Ray helps with the kids plenty of times, and the only thing that we really don't see him do is clean. He also goes to work everyday which is the reason why they have a house in the first place. Listen I get that Deborah does things and I was simply making a joke, but she is such a narcissist. Well DAM Leslie Gonzalez, do you even know the Definition of ABUSE?!!!!!! The question should be who would make the asinine choice to MARRY an Immature,Selfish,Spoiled Individual(not MAN). Now you say he is being ABUSED,BIH please if anything He is the ABUSER(how you say)?(a) he does not forsake ALL for WIFE(b)he Disrespect/Belittles her(WIFE) with BLESSINGS from his Mother(c)he Consistently tells her he wants her to be like his Mother by Catering to Him in All aspect(d)Does not spend any time with their children to the point HE can't tell the TWINS apart and he would rather be the COOL Friend instead of DISCIPLINARIAN FATHER but according to you he is being ABUSED by her when she consistently scolds him because of A,B,C,and D seriously, but wait I forgot you are a SUBMISSIVE DUMBASS in ALL Aspects!!!!!!!!!! 🙃🙃🙃🙃🥀🥀🥀🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🍽️🍽️🍽️🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑

I think he shouldn't have to help in the house. She was there all day, she just need some organization. When you're a stay at home mom, there shouldn't be the need for your husband to come from work to help you. Week ends are different, he can have his golf in the Saturday morning, she can have something in the afternoon. And Sunday all together.

@@sandy4498 My wife and I raised 3 children. It's all you can do to keep up with them. There's cooking, cleaning, laundry, homework, kids sports and club activities, grocery shopping, driving them to friends, holding sleepovers, birthday parties (the kids AND their friends), taking care of them when they're sick, parent-teacher meetings, school board meetings and I'm only naming a fraction. And that's not counting all the shopping, cooking and cleaning when you have company over. I happily help my wife with everything because it's exhausting work. Ray wouldn't help her with a damn thing. Not even balancing the checkbook, or when she was choking. He was a spoiled little boy who wanted a mommy more than a wife.

If Deborah wouldn't have been so narcissistic and arrogant they wouldn't even live across from his parents. She did that and Ray was against it.

I don't understand the anger. It was an accident. He put in the wrong VHS tape to record the Superbowl. Innocent mistake. It's not like he meant to do it.

Except in the episode, Debra states that she had the VHS clearly marked in huge gold letters lol.
