pretty good. definitely not perfect. there are some episodes where they struggle to blend the flashbacks in terms of tone. subverting expectations only goes so far and you don't want tone jarring, but rather some connection between the two. it can ruin the flow of the storyline. and the supernatural aspect was a struggle for the show. IMO they should have left it alone and make lottie only appear crazy, not having supernatural abilities, or at least make it ambiguous. I would have cut out her screaming to prevent the car accident, or at least make it so she keeps crying so the audience isn't sure whether it was supernatural or not.

This was such a wild ride from start to finish. The older and younger versions of the main four were perfectly cast, and the twists were very well executed, particularly the reveal of how Jackie died. Girls can DEFINITELY be just as vicious as boys.

Just finished the first season and I loved it. Entertaining, intriguing, mysterious. Excellent performance from the young and older actors. Happy to see Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci in a great show that's getting so much recognition. I know both actress have been working, but I consider this as their comebacks. As much as I like the concept, the actors are amazing, & you’re right they did cast older & younger perfectly - I have to say, not EVERYTHING has to be a show these days. 🙄 there’s way too many shows that would be just as good, if not better as a movie. Disagree completely- this story couldn’t be told in a movie… there wouldn’t be nearly enough time for the character development which is one of the reasons people are connecting with the show. There is a reason that this show is the 2nd MOST watched tv show on showtime -EVER.
