reason i still keep my gate is for food delivery to hang the food there lol, you are fine without that since you have a super huge area outside to even put a bench table! as for toilets separate by girl and guy, it works if they are near to each other and also because you had a very open layout, else guest have to enter your master room to access toilet is not very convenient. For me, we just keep the bathing at one to reduce the cleaning effort which is always a chore

yo cool platform bec u hv . usually what i see is its facing sideways u enter from the side . urs is the other way round . open in the front and instrad of tv wall or what is the wardrobe to the side. literally inspired me abit haha also is the platform okay for heavy items ?

I don't think so. My understanding is we need a fire rated but nothing is said with the gate. Nevertheless, We did check with our town council and HDB, both have no issue with us removing it.

For led, we brought them but installation is by the electricians. As for the Toilet door, yes. We did remove the original door frame 👍🏻

@@NiJiaCasa my ID was saying removing the existing doorframe might break the inside tiles and gotta deal with water proofing issues. That will incur quite a bit of cost. Was it the same for you?

@@rl1050 we didn't have this issue. The tiler did a great job removing it without cracking anything at all. ID didn't mentioned that's gonna be an issue too. Nevertheless, I believe wasteproofing layer is only like 30cm from the floor up. Not all the way.

I won't say it's smooth like tiles. But it's smooth enough that my feet don't feel it. I notice over time with mopping(using mi vacuum), it gets smoother. 👍🏻
