The Hennessey Venom GT actually beat the Bugatti Veyron SS... However, because it didn't complete 2 runs and match the speed of that on its 1st run, it didn't take the title. i liked the de lorean mainly because they mentioned that it had a stainless steel frame (zinc)/ stainless steel doesn't rust and it's tougher than steel, so if they built it with materials of that nature, they were trying to build something that would last forever and been well worth the price tag. Of course, if the workers were unskilled, no amount of pretty steel can make up for it. Sad story of a car that could have been epic.
