I rode Iron Gwazi 3 times when I visited BGT and it blew my mind just how good it was. The povs don’t do it justice so just go ride it for yourself!

Of the Florida coasters I’ve done, here are my top 10. 10. Kraken 9. Cheetah Hunt 8. Montu 7. Incredible Hulk 6. Kumba 5. Cosmic Rewind 4. Tron 3. Mako 2. Hagrids 1. Velocicoaster Haven’t ridden Iron Gwazi, Ice Breaker, Pipeline, and some others but those are my top 10.

Cheetah hunt and Montu are higher up on my list but iron gwazi is #2 for me (solely cause of whiplash knocked it down to #2) #1 being velocicoaster

Live in Florida. Have ridden over 60 different coasters. Mostly, all the coasters are located in Florida and at Cedar Point. Was soooo excited to ride Pipeline. Have season passes to Busch Gardens and SeaWorld. I have ridden Pipeline 10+ times. 6'2" 205lbs and in good shape. Work out 5 days a week, fish, golf, and surf whenever there are waves. I tried ridding the coaster in many different ways, but unfortunately, every single ride I ended up getting my boys crushed. Some definitely worse then others. But have never had what I would consider a clean ride. Even when anticipating some of the trouble spots. There were a few times when it brought me back to my days playing soccer and getting accidently kicked in that region. Literally brought me to my knees after waking out of the station. The funny thing is I know it's not just me because after almost every ride, there were always a few other males complaining when getting off the ride. Some more loudly than others. The ride is really cool, but the potential pain outweighs the fun. Which really sucks because I love the concept. The ride seems to be more forgiving for males who are under 6 ft. If you are tall there is less slide in the mechanism. Therefore, there is a higher likelihood of smashing your boys. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I haven't really heard anyone in the coaster community complaining about this. Would love to hear from other people in the community to see if they have had this problem. Cheers

You really have to prepare yourself for the airtime hills. It's a leg workout and you have to really situate yourself when you come down from the airtime

Iron Gwazi became my favorite coaster of all time after only 3 rides. Velocicoaster is an extremely close second. Hulk, Hagrids and Mako are all in my top 25. Florida is just a stacked state for coasters

Florida is my home state and I've ridden every roller coaster on this list. I think it's a great list, but the biggest omission I see is Manta at SeaWorld. I think it's one of the most intense rides in Florida. I also like Kumba and Montu more than Cheetah Hunt, but I definitely like your list overall because it does include a wide variety of family coasters, and I agree with your placement of Hagrid's. It's not the most intense but it's possibly the most fun.

I break my number one down a bit differently. Number one most intense coaster is Iron Gwazi. Best all around coaster is Velocicoaster and the all around best ride is hagrids. All are great! But it depends on what kind of experience I’m looking for on what I would say is the number one

While I would put Kumba somewhere on the list (for nostalgia reasons) I do agree with your top 3. My problem with Velocicoaster though is the part that you and most people like the most, the second half. I love the mosasaurus roll, but that whole section is just a double helix with some elements. It's always turning right. The first half is a spaghetti bowl and you never where you're going to go next which I love

This must've been a very hard list to make. I can't speak to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or TRON: Lightcycle Run because I haven't ridden with of yet, but I can think of at least seven Florida roller coasters that I would take over Expedition Everest.

Yes; I loved this countdown. The top three were what I'd've picked, although I think I'll prefer Velocicoaster over Iron Gwazi when (or/and if) I ride it on my 1st trip to Florida in 2025 at the age of 55 (right now I'm wondering if I can even afford to visit Hershey Park this year) but I loved this video all the same. I think pipeline should be replaced with manta, it’s quite uncomfortable and manta is one in a couple flying coasters ever built, the pretzel roll is the almost as good as the airtime hills on mako in my opinion

Velocicoaster is definitely not the best themed coaster in the world. It is good, but almost every coaster in Disney and some in universal are themed better. Just because a coaster is good, does not mean it is the best rhemed

Tron is one of the shortest, most dull coasters in Florida. And Pipeline is over rated. The fact that you even put Mt Everest on there is laughable. Well, at least you like rides. And we have a lot of em in Florida. Top 5? Gwazi, Velocicoaster, Cheetah Hunt, Hulk, and without doubt: MONTU.

1st ride was absolutely excruciating!! 😖 Since then, I have found if you stand up straight, feet back, adjust the seat so that it is snug but not crushing, the ride is perfect!!😍 You will have a tendency to lean forward and have your feet out in front of you, don’t do it, and you will be just fine!!👍
