I'm glad to see other guys out there who love rose notes. Just recently I've had the pleasure of picking up Aubade and Serenade and they're AMAZING. I'm was not really into gaurmands but Serenade changed all that! With that said, I'd love to get your take on a rose fragrance somewhere down the line.

Rose 🌹 fragrances are my absolute favorite fragrances. I have MFK Oud satin mood extrait, Frederick Malle portrait of a lady, fragrance du bois rose intense oud and MFK a’la Rose 🌹 I believe that’s how you pronounce it.

Good job Man! My 2 most favorite rose frags are Amouage Lyric Man and Amouage Imitation Man (completely different from others) . I would add to the list TF Noir de Noir and FM Portrait of a Lady . I do not like Rose & Oud combo

I defiantly love the note of rose, the One from Dolce & Gabbana Mysterious Nights was love at first sniff. To bad it didn't make the cut, it is a perfect gateway into rose/oud /amber combination.

My "Lyric Man", to follow your line of narration, has been none other than the one I would have later discovered to be considered the Queen of roses... Portrait of a Lady. When I first smelled the sample sent me by an online retailer, as an homage, I rolled my eyes. Then I thought: "Wow, I'd loose my mind if I'd smell this on a woman". Then, I was conflicted... "Man, I like this so much though. Maybe if I try..." Then again: "God, I like It ON ME. With the right outfit I think I could pull this off"... Two days later, I bought a bottle.

Great list and informative as always...another good fragrance which house that don’t get that much attention is Oud Touch by Franck Olivier... an outstanding cheapie with premium performance. The initial spray is kind of harsh but the dry down and sillage is heavenly. Performance is an easy 8 to 10 hours. A what I enjoy about this fragrance which you don’t get even with other niche and designer fragrances is that this one gets better and better as the day goes on. Definitely worth a blind buy if you’re into oud and rose fragrances. Keep up the good work bro...peace

Never thought I'd like so many fragrances with Rose. I'd highly recommend Onyx by Aaron Terence Hughes. It has similarities to New York Oud in that it has plum and oud but its also got chocolate, which adds a real richness along with ambergris and Sandalwood.

Check out Tiziani Terenzi Gold Rose oudh Extrait de Parfum ! Identical to New York Oud ! But not as synthetic but to me along those same DNA ! Watched this when it first dropped, and just coming back around to it again. Very curious to see if you’ve tried amouage opus xii rose incense. They just switched to the newer bottles and tried it out at neiman marcus. I was absolutely blown away. Bright rose with deep but not too dark incense. If they didn’t switch to the newer bottles and put them on main display I don’t think I’d ever have come across it but wow absolute hanger imo. And I’d love to hear your and equalityF thoughts on this one
