I feel domestic violence should not be in a "man" or "woman" box, it's down to the size of the attacker and the victim. I'm a man but only 5'4 and 140 pounds due to a heart condition. If a average size woman hits me with all she got she can do some serious damage to me. I've met plenty of Tom boys twice my size. If one of those women choose to hit me, especially in my chest, who has breasts and who doesn't don't matter at all. Man or woman doesn't always mean the mans stronger. I've learned you have to go by facts in these situations. I don't know how many cop videos show women sobbing hysterically they where beaten, yet show no signs but the men do have marks and video to prove otherwise. Sadly women are often the ones who do get it and that is horrible I agree.

My mom and dad have a healthy relationship, but sometimes, they fight say it’s fake but I know the difference it’s not fake, they scare me, not all the time, I’m not abused neither are my parents, but it’s physical sometimes, I cry, I put myself in a corner when I do something wrong, my dad hasn’t been the best to me and I know thst, he knows that, my mom is the best she can be, my dad throws it out the ballpark

I think the last one was him trying to stop himself from hitting her. That was my interpretation. Also to talk about DV against men. I think they are embarrassed to look weak. Some people expect men to fight back so when they don’t they get looked down upon. It’s not right there should be PSA’s for both sides. I’ve looked online to see if I could find any against men to send to you but there’s nothing. Though I found a video showing that in tv shows DV against men is played for laughs which unfortunately is true
