#10: Eh? To me, it’s just strange. #9: Ok, that was one is moderately scary. The music is what gets me the most. #8: Oh hell no!!! I hate that logo! #7: I agree on so many levels. The music is weird, the animation is cheesy, and the background and shapes don’t help. #6: This one is fine except for the music. #5: Yeah, that one is scary but I think Castle Vision is scarier. #4: What a bizarre acid trip. #3: What a bizarre LSD trip. Let this be a lesson on how NOT to use the trailing effect in your logo. #2: Okay, I agree mostly with why this logo may be scary, but I don’t think it deserves to be at #2. Honorable Mentions: 1. Good god, I feel sorry for the wailing dogs. 2. SERIOUSLY, ARGENTINA??? 3. This one is actually pretty cool in my opinion. 4. Nope! Hate the color scheme and sounds. 5. #10: completely agree. Logos with eyes are some of the scariest to me. Rating: Nightmare #9: meh, i don’t find it scary really. Rating: Low #8: I completely agree for the same reasons. Not in my top 10 but i do find it menacingly scary. Rating: Nightmare #7: agree. The music creeps me out. This a part two. My original list has some logos that are not scary at all. I am making a top 20 soon which has alot more different scary logos. Most of these logos are honourable mentions on that list. Also Oz film does not scare me at all. Neither does horror factory. I can understand why it is scary but I don't find it to be. Good observation though.

I saw a comment on 5# that says it has a meaning. The three arrows pointing downwards represents the holy trinity falling down from heaven. Which explains the white clouds. The red line represents Hell. The band that wraps around the box is a grip that secures them in there. What a bad ending. I did not make the explanation because I found a comment on an independent video that says so. Seriously, that is dark. I never knew a logo for kids could have a sinister story

first I want to say from 0:37 That logo is a good choice, I love it and it's obscure to me. #10: to me this is just a log that's there. it doesn't give me goosebumps and it's actually strange. My opinions: (the ratings show how scary the logo) 10. A hIkOn FiLm. 7/10 9. Sounds retro imo "They showed this to kids" it's because it came from universities tho. 7.5/10 8. A-OK for the 80s. 5/10 for me personally. 7. Ok. Now this is scary. Sci-Fi is so uncomfortable for some people so yeah. 8/10 6. Ok. First of all, it's NOT VHS. They have a home video company tho but no it's not. (You can see the lines that are scratches bc it's old) And finally, as a Filipino, I saw comedy/drama films that have this logo. Not scary at all. 1/10. 5. Loud? Not much for me. 7/10. 4. OK, first of all, I saw the description of that logo, and that says the year of the variant was 1981. Second of all, yes it's trippy but it doesn't match for being scared of that. 4/10. 3. No it isn't scary, it's just worse ughhhhhh 6/10 2. Regal Entertainment Inc. didn't have a home video logo until 1993, and the 1985-93 logo has two categories for the music. One in 1985-87, and one in 1987 onwards (while the 1987 version sounds kinda creepier) 2. The scratches are a sign that it's from an old filmstrip, due to most Filipino films preserved poorly. 3. #6 didn't last from 85 to 87. It ended in 93, but has DIFFERENT, creepier music in 87 all the way up to 93 (check #1) 4. #5 is an alternate version of the Castle HV logo.
