FYI: seatbelts on coasters are just for show 99 percent of the time. The chance of the restraint loosening is so unlikely I don’t even think it’s happened in the uk before. The smiler accident was 100 percent human error

@@amankaushal5371 the restraint is locked in place, the seatbelt isnt required but just adds a bit of extra reassurance for the rider. the only the reason the restraint moves is to give a bit of breathability so its not too tight i think

okie dokie, lemme explain: galactica, formerly air, was ‘rethemed’ for the 2016 season and introduced the VR. it was the first fully dedicated VR coaster, but it wasn’t greatly received as people didn’t think it suited the ride, as well as the constant cleaning and adjusting between rides slowing down the transfer time. consequently, for 2017/18 only 2/3 rows had it so you could have a seat without if you wanted. it was fully removed in 2019 and hasn’t been on since :)) i also believe that this should’ve been top 10 scariest coaster types, cus some of these aren’t scary (i’m a massive alton towers fan but galactica and oblivion are NOT the scariest of their kind.) for example, both saw and oblivion are dive coasters (by definition they are two separate types but do essentially the same thing), so are both part of the ‘scariest’ type. just a little tip for the original creator :)

9:12 I did this ride and made the mistake of riding it with my glasses on. As we went over the top of the loop, I had to hold them onto my face to prevent them from falling off. We (me and a few old friends) went on (in succession) Vortex, Colossus, Saw: The Ride, Samurai and Nemesis Inferno. After lunch, two of them went on The Swarm (this was back in 2013 when the last two rows went through the coaster backwards). Also the day I was introduced to the Bon Jovi song “Wanted Dead Or Alive”. Memories...!

10:35 when i went to germany i went into a bunch of different things like that. it's really funny because i had to go with my cousin because he was too small to go alone, so i just went full speed. it's also terrifying because you can feel the gravitational pull trying to fling you off the side of the mountain at a turn. definitely one of the most exciting things i've ever done. it was also DEFINITELY faster than 25 mph

I went on a VR rollercoaster for the first time and it was quite a cool experience. It was a Superman themed one where basically the "story" in the ride was getting a tour around Metropolis as we were in a "cable car". Suddenly Lex Luthor in his suit crashes in and lifts us high into the sky and then drops us and just we were about to "fall to our deaths", Superman saves us and lifts us up only to be knocked away by Lex and tries to crash us to the ground again and vice versa. We also felt the "explosions" as well as other things. While the rollercoaster feeling is still there, it was a whole new experience because we were immerse into that story and setting we were visually in.

I done the Galactica one at Alton Towers and it’s actually amazing. Not sure of what happens as you have the headset on but it’s like your going through space and stuff it’s actually one hell of an experience as I don’t own a VR headset

Fun fact: I went to galactica a couple years ago, and the people infront of us got on the rollercoaster got stuck on it and had to wait 3 hours, I felt so lucky

I hope that the dragster is in here im from ohio it's in cedar point it gose like 120 mph just watched the first two minutes and the twister is also at cedar point petty fun ride. Watched another couple minutes the slingshot is also in here.
