One of the scariest things to happen to me was when I was 8 or 9 years old. I was sitting in a chair in the TV room at night, right next to a window. Suddenly, I heard a ghostly voice call out my name. I immediately got up and ran from the room. In hindsight, it was probably my uncle or cousin, they were always playing pranks.

Finally someone speaking about williard! I've been asking! Both my parents were in and out of williard for 13 yrs! I remember going there to visit my mom or dad! It was very scary seeing patients and seeing one or the other parent! I remember looking into through a small window seeing them undoing my ms straight jacket giving her a shot buckling her up again she was in a white padded room, watching her struggle to set herself free from her jacket then seeing her falling to her knees and into the fetal position! I cried and cried! Between 196-1976 dad was in and out of jail or in williard and mom! I think in 1968 they both were in williard! They are both gone now! I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD! R.I.P. SCARY SHERRY

Rebecca! Oh my gosh, I can't believe you mentioned King Seat! I live in the same city, even had a relative as a resident there when I was a kid... but you didn't mention the cool thing about it, King Seat has since become a kind of a theme park called Spookers where actors dress up as monsters and you can do a sort of sacar tour of one of the old hospital wings at night. It's pretty awesome :p

Hi there, I live in New Zealand and have driven past Kingseat many times and been told stories of the ghosts of patients seen walking hallways. While it is quite beautiful, it stands as a reminder that terrible things like this did happen and actually not that long ago (Kingseat closed in 1999 which is only 19 years ago). This hospital stands as a reminder of what went on and reminds us of the mistakes that cannot be made again.

I remember I was playing minecraft when I was 7 years old. Then my closet was closed all the way, then out of no where, it opened by it's self! I can out the room terrified obviously. I am a retired nurse( yes, you have elderly fans!). The scariest place I was ever at was a haunted nursing home I worked at for a time. Call bells went off in unoccupied rooms, lights went on by themselves and we had a cat that could predict death. Spooky. Didn't work there long!!

My scariest experience. I went on a Scout Cub hike when i was 10ish and we were stampeded by a herd of wild horses. I only didnt get trampled by hiding behind a tree because cantering horses in a forest at 10 years old are massivley scary.
