Here’s the teke teke story: basically, there was this Japanese teen girl that faced a lot of bullying at school (happens a lot.) One day things went too far. A group of bullies pushed her onto the tracks at the local station as she was waiting for the train after school, it was just supposed to be a joke, but little did the bullies know the next train was rapidly approaching the station. The girl couldn’t get off the tracks in time, as a result she was torn in half and killed by the train’s wheels. Legend has it that she returned as an Onryō, a type of malevolent spirit in Japanese beliefs, the western equivalent would be a Poltergeist. Since then she is said to roam the streets at night looking for her lost legs and cutting anyone who she comes across in half with a grass knife
