I remember one time while camping with my girlfriend out in the woods and out of nowhere came this huge brown bear charging at us and boy, was she mad. We must have near her young. Anyway, good thing I had my pistol with me that day and was able to get away. One shot to my girlfriend's knee cap is all it took.. The bear grab her and I was able to escape by just walking at a brisk pace. I got lucky that day.

My sister, her 4 yr old daughter, my best friend & I were going to the lake one Summer day, this was around 1979. We grew up not far & it’s one of the best known & clearest lakes in Alabama. We came to a 4 way stop sign area & men were dressed in KKK outfits & hoods were standing @ every stop sign with buckets & signs made saying things like, “Give to help us purify our state of non-whites!”(I can’t say the real word but it’s the N word)! My sister flipped them the “bird” finger & took off as fast as she could! I had never seen anything like them before. Their KKK outfits scared us all, I was crying which made my 4 yr old niece cry. I started yelling @ my sister asking who were those people & why were they dressed like that? She explained they only liked White people & wanted all other nationalities dead! I started screaming @ her then! “Why did you shoot them the bird? There were enough of them that they could have gotten our license plate number & find out where we live!” But they didn’t! We were just so shocked & scared that they had the nerve to stand out there in broad daylight, dressed in full KKK clothing & begging people for money to support their “evil” cause!

Please do New Zealand urban legends Include Patupaiarehe, they're thought to be the first civilisation on NZ (orange hair pale skin huge beings) until the Maori arrived and killed most but bred with some. There are some people living in NZ who are descendants from both Patupaiarehe and Maori but that's not the story. It is said that you could hear the old spirits of Patupaiarehe 'howling' from forests and mountains, the pitch and tone of the howl which stood still. Great list, honestly it's great because it really does serve as a warning, not a warning to never go down the less beaten path, but rather that if you do, be cautious about your surroundings and be aware that if your senses tell you that you shouldn't go further and that you leave, then do so. It is disgusting that people exist in this world that would do such horrid things and sadly these things do happen, more often than we know. But do not let fear run your life, please do go to the beautiful wilderness when you can, if you can, just make sure and be cautious, go prepared and aware, in other words have fun, live life but be safe y'all.
