Number 9 isn't really creepy. The original quote from Dante is "Abandon hope all ye who enter here", which is engraved on the entrance to Hell. So, when they changed it to "Abandon all regret", that sounds like a blessing. The other objects seem to be "bless this house" kinda things, too. That's really sweet, not creepy.

@@gtb81. Yeah, it could be. But I found the original story on imgur, and things don't add up. The safe had a plastic dial that looks semi-modern to me. There's a coin from Venezuela that was minted in 1971, with most being from around the 40's-50's. And someone else pointed out in the comments that one of the coins "found" in the safe was issued in 2007, from the United Arab Emirates. Basically, all of the stuff in there looks old, but they're from all different time periods that don't match up with the photos of the grand-parents. My mom told me that when I was 2 years old, that was in the year 2001, my grandfather made a time capsule and buried it somewhere in the forest near his favorite tree. He died a year after he buried the time capsule and my mom, my dad and even I don’t have any idea where he buried it or where his favorite tree is. He always say to my mom before that time will come and he will tell her where his favorite tree is, he was killed not so far from our house and he never got to tell us where did he buried that capsule or where the tree is. Mom said it was full of old photos and a message for me and his family. But we won’t lose hope, we will find that time capsule in no time.

my father and his 3 other siblings put a time capsule in the ground in 1978. They wanted to dig it up 40 years later. Well, on top of the location of where they put the capsule in the ground, a factory was built. They can no longer access the time capsule and maybe one day, in the future the factory will be gone and the capsule will be found. (this story took place in 2018 by the way)

My theory on the two deceased infants found in the nurse's bag is that it is related not to the story "Peter Pan", but rather to the one that Peter first appeared in "The Little White Bird" in which Peter was able to fly as a newborn because he did not know he wasn't supposed to be able to. It said in that story couples who wished to become parents would go to Kensington Garden and sit under the tree waiting for one of the trees little white birds to land in their prams and become a child. Until the child was told otherwise, he or she believed they could still fly as they did when they were still a bird. I'm not sure why this inspired the nurse to stuff the babies into her bag, unless she believed she could help them retain said ability.

I tried to do this with a couple of friends from my rowing club. We went to a little island in the middle of a lake we always row in. We took an old military chest with us filled with stuff and we also took a pear tree. We planted the pear tree, buried the chest, but just about a month later one of my friends told me that a man who lived in a houseboat on the lake saw us bury the chest and thought we had buried explosives. The police were called and two of my friends (of whom only one is 18+) had to explain the situation to the police in order to get back our chest. Mission failed.

Dante’s inscription over the gates of Hell was, “abandon all hope..:” This time capsule seems to be an allusion to Dante, but also a commentary on it. If those who enter Hell are to abandon hope, then those who enter her abode are to abandon their negative baggage of “regret.” She is also African American. One could assume this is a refutation of Dante and in fact a message of hope, quite the opposite of Hell. Her family had escaped the bonds of Hell and likely felt pains from an oppressed existence and lost years in bondage. I'm probably not the first one to mention this, but regarding the #9 time capsule: The actual quote from Dante Alighieri is "Abandon hope all who enter here." It appears on the entrance to the DarkWood, hinting that there can be no turning back and no escape once someone chooses to proceed through the gate. In the time capsule, by saying "Abandon all regret..," they are obviously hinting that the capsule contains delights to be bestowed upon those who open it. Not scary at all, actually.
