Number Zero: Clown Zombie, Armored Zombie, and Dragon Zombie. They infinitely self revive for no cost because they're Zombie type monsters in Season 1.

sarthak arora That would be the case, but Joey stopped them from reviving without getting rid of Call of the Haunted. He used Shield and Sword to Switch the original Situation and Plot Armor of all face-up monsters currently on the field until the end phase.

None of them had an effect and had shit statlines, plus the spell only lets you summon as many as are in your hand which is good for link or rank 3 decks but still kinda slow. Seriously, Grapha’s revival ability is perfect for his archetype. You get another chance to discard your Dark World cards again. Not very applicable outside of Dark World decks, but still an absolute beast of a revival card.

Coincidentally, a great brick is in this very list. Stardust Dragon Assault Mode checks in. Back in the day there was a good synchro cat and later on flamvell engine that SPECIFICALLY ran thing like magical mallet to avoid the assault mode monsters into the hand. Risky decks, but as soon Stardust Assault was out it was pretty much game over

That card has a negative effect, which locks you out of normal summoning or setting monsters if you use it's reviving effect, so it may not be the best revival card. Typically, you wouldn't want your summons to be restricted when your trying to revive cards from the graveyard.

Even after the Dragon Rulers got limited, I was able to find success with my SIN deck playing Redox. Being a 3K defender was helpful, and I could summon it off my dead SIN Stardusts, Beast Kings and Maxx C. It would even allow me to summon Stardust Dragon itself by tuning with Effect Veiler.

Did you know Stardust Assault mode can negate for unlimited amount of times during your end phase? If your opponent is dumb enough to try and use any effects during your end phase when this card is supposed to be back, he can just go tribute itself again and then returned again, which is another window for another effects to be activated.

Quillbolt Hedgehog has a great revival effect. I thought of a combo, involving Quillbolt Hedgehog and Imperial Iron Wall which would make it viable to go into Link and Synchro Plays. Let's start with a consistent way of getting Imperial Iron Wall out, this is at most a turn 2 thing which is "too slow" but it involves Foolish Burial Goods and Booby Trap E (If it's too slow you can just run Makyura or even Temple of the Kings - I don't think you would for Temple though). Use Foolish Burial Goods to send Imperial Iron Wall to the graveyard and if you have Booby Trap E you can activate it and if you have a Quilbolt Hedgehog in your hand discard it or even discard a Imperial Iron Wall from your hand because you can literally set it then activate it due to what Booby Trap E allows you to do. Then summon a Tuner monster, special summon Quillbolt Hedgehog from the graveyard, use it for a link or synchro tuner summon, repeat.

Treeborn frog is dope. The lack of errata had it limited for a long time because of it. It worked on many decks due to that effect, with how easy it is to bring out, for example, high level spellcasters due to magical dimension being available as soon as you get one in, you could bring in a Dark Magician or DMoC. Almost with no drawback too, as ruling stated the summoned was immune to trap holes (bottomless) if you use the destroy effect of magical dimensión because of mistiming. It worked against DMoC but a 2800 banisher? What does it matter at that time if you get the spell card? I mean it's great, but you see, avoiding traps like that was a big thing. This is also why I said bringing out the Sorcerer of Dark Magic has never been that hard elsewhere, you could effortlessly bring in the two needed casters *then* bring one back.

Stardust/Assault Mode's revival effect is also not restricted to once per turn. I remember a Duel in which my opponent used Bottomless Trap Hole during the End Phase when my Assault Mode was brought back... So I negated it and then immediately re-summoned it.

Both Doomking's effects can be used once per turn, you can chain at two different times per turn to banish one monster and negate one effect, its not one or another per turn. Great video nonetheless.

Treeborn Frog actually _can_ be activated as many times as you want, as long as it a. leaves the GY after activating its effect ( or you have other copies in there ) and b. leaves the field before the end of the Standby Phase ( so you're not controlling a copy of it ). See, that's the same soft OPT you see on a lot of the other cards, and the same rules apply: namely, it's only once per turn _per that copy while that copy is in the same location._ This is why you can loop typical soft OPT effects by activating them, then bouncing or popping the monster, then summoning them again. The same thing applies to soft OPT effects that activate anywhere else, too - as long as you can move the card out of the location that effect activates in and then move it back in, you can use the effect as many times as you want. Or, to put it another way? All that errata did was make it so that if you negate a Treeborn Frog's effect, it won't be able to just immediately activate its effect again anyway, since it's still in the GY and wasn't able to reset its soft OPT. 'Course, your opponent can still immediately activate Treeborn Frog's effect, they just have to have another one primed in the GY.

The errata to treeborn frog wasn't to weaken it or anything, but to deal with effects that could abuse it's trigger occuring multiple times, like light and darkness dragon. If Treeborn comes out of the graveyard, and still winds up back there in the standby phase, it can activate again, as it's not a hard once per turn and that's a new treeborn frog. Also rip Vennominaga.

Destiny End Dragoon. He even got a fusion spell card for him. Easily usable with virus cards, great stats and banish any d-hero monster to bring back and that revival effect isn't even once per turn. Plus an effect that lets you destroy a monster and burn for life point damage if face up. Sure doesn't see play but you can't tell me its not good for the archtype.
