Don't forget the rotary cutter. I honestly can't live without, a good iron, seam guide, magnetic pin cushion or bowl, bodkin, my bionic gear bag goes with me to every class, can keep by machine as well, thimble, thread heaven or beeswax for hand sewing

I'm a sucker for notions/tools with my JoAnn and Hobby Lobby coupons! I have more pins and clips than I have room to use at one time but why waste a coupon!! As far as the sewing tools basket goes, buying one is quick and easy but making one is more fun and unique. It's a good excuse to work with some different fabrics like vinyl or mesh and produce something useful. When you get to the end of the project, if it doesn't make you smile, send it out into the world and make one that does😍

I don’t know how I stumbled on your channel? I have been looking at so many different ones…( I know my Mary is with me in spirit right now she always wanted me to learn how to sew) I am in the process of getting a sewing machine and learning the sewing craft. I’ve been sewing for maybe two months hands-down my favorite thing that you have is the scissors holder. I have everything else that I got when I got my machine and set my sewing area up. I was actually using a toothbrush holder for my scissors but I like the hairdresser scissor holder thing better so that was hands-down my favorite and I just ordered mine on Amazon!!!!

Love the scissors holder! I found a similar one after watching your earlier video showing it. The one I found features an additional storage area that holds my rotary cutter & marking pencils & pens. I would have never thought of using this item in my sewing room if you hadn't featured it so THANK YOU!!

Hi Sue! Love your suggestions for necessary sewing tools. Sewists need good tools, some more than one. One of my favorite pins that I use almost daily: Taylor Seville Magic Fork Pins! They are awesome!

I like the MollieOllie Caddy. It looks very spacious. I love lots of pockets. 😊 I also like the fabric pencils. I currently use fabric chalk, but I really like the point aspect of the pencisl. Something else I use in addition to the Wonder Clips are metal hair clips. (Also called Alligator or Duckbill.) Because they're thin and flat, I can get pretty close to my presser foot before I have to remove them. Thanks for the video.
