Went on a cruise for our honeymoon, we hit high seas around dinner and all the dishes on our tables started moving all over the table. It was funny as everyone in the dining room said “OH” at the same time. My husband got strep throat and tonsillitis and I was sea sick for most of the trip. It sucked but the crew took such good care of us and other passengers kept sending Champaign to our table or room. My husband planned our honeymoon so I had no idea what we were going to do and my mom packed my suitcase, she bought me some new clothes and of course new nighties and undies. The first night we stayed in a hotel room, had breakfast and then went to the ship. To my horror once we were on the ship I discovered that someone from the hotel had taken all my nighties, undergarments and my bathing suit. The worst thing about that is that my mom packed all white clothes for me uggh! We went to Ensenada Mexico and just so you know, tourist towns don’t sell underwear. Had to hand wash my underwear every night, who wants to do laundry on their honeymoon right? Here we are 40 yrs later and laughing at such memorable moments.
