they might have been associated with grunge acts but they definitely prove everyone wrong after neon ballroom, so much respect to these guys for evolving into something not many bands achieve wich is a sound of their own, another honorable mention riff worthy of the list is "Those thievin' birds"

I love Nirvana, and some people will kill me, but Silverchair riffs are better, more powerful, intense, smashing. And Daniel Johns was a way better musician than Kurt IMO. They created their own sound clearly influenced by their musical heroes, and that's not a bad thing. Except for their last album and era (they became a whole different band for bad), I have enjoyed Silverchair more. And I love all Nirvana songs, including the b-sides and home recordings. Thank you for this awesome video!

I don't think Silverchair were Post - Grunge, they were grunge until Freak Show, after that, on Neon Ballroom they become Post-Grunge with some Alternative Rock
