I live in Denmark. There are no school team system in Denmark, so it was never an option for me.

Same. We only have volleyball during school intramurals and your opponents are from a different grade level, like grade 10 vs grade 9 or grade 7 vs grade 8. Our school doesn't have club for sports, we only have english club, science club, etc. And the worst part is that the only place you can play volleyball (there's a field in the middle of our school grounds), is not allowed to be played with soccer, volleyball, etc. because the teachers said the ball might hit some people's heads, windows, and damage some flowers. And oh, I think I am the only person interested on volleyball in our school and everybody's doing their own business there.

Volleyball really is one of the most difficult sports once you're in game. In most sports, you have a lot more time to think about your plays, but here, you have the less than a second in most scenarios, as the plans beforehand arena always a possibility. The players in this video aren't just amazing athletes, they've got their heads well placed on those shoulders. The ability to make those decisions on the time they have which is barely anything is beyond impressive.

and to top it off my coaches stress that it is the MOST mental sport. if you and yo ur teammates hate each other on and off the court it will show and you wont do well because you HAVE to work together you cant rely on one person to do all the work

@@dribq that certainly does play a role, but it shouldn’t have too big an impact if the players have enough experience or is good at sports mentally. Yes, the players hating each other will show no matter what, but a good player also knows to keep that shit out off the court, thereby minimizing the effect it will have. I once played on a soccer team with someone I REALLY disliked, and it went both ways. But they were still our best scorer with almost 80% of their goals being assists from me. We hated each other as people, and honestly weren’t a big fan of each other’s play styles, but respected each other as athletes and on the field. Cause as you mentioned, a single player won’t get far in a team sport, so no matter how you hate each other you just have to put that aside during matches. Not to say it’s easy to do, but it’s that simple

niceeee...i remember the same thing happen to me but except that the ball was going too far from me.. like i jumped on the wrong spot...as i was going to spike it, i jumped quickly again and turned around and spiked it with my back hand xD everyone was like wow lmao i was sucha try hard back then but toobad i didnt bother to compete in tournaments with other schools :'(
