Really late but the Glowy Spider Man is the Spider Armor Mark 4, also known as All New All Different Spider Man. Peter built this suit after the superior Spiderman story line, where Doc Ock started Parker Industries using Peter's body. Peter used the technology from his own company to improve his base suit and he had it as his default costume for a while, and its quite popular among fans

Ahhh, the greatness that is MacFarlane Spidey... still, one of the greatest figures at that scale ever made (imo)... I've never been one of those ToyBiz apologists, even right after the hand-off when Hasbro was busy pooping the bed, but I'll say this for them - even when ToyBiz swung and missed, they were always swinging for the fences... pushing 40 PoA on a fig that retailed for what, like 9 bucks? That still blows my mind. Great list, great vid, and great effort for working "hutzpah" into one of your videos! Well done!

Though I loved McFarlane Spider-Man when I had him, nowadays I feel he's kind of ugly and even out of scale. He's both too skinny and too tall. The biggest problem, though, is that ToyBiz never made a matching black-suited version of Spidey with the same proportions. That is why currently my preferred version of Spider-Man is the Pizza Mould, since, well, it's just weird seeing multiple versions of the same character with entirely different artstyles and scales.

IMO the McFarlane Spiderman stands out as the best Spiderman action figure ever made. The sculpting and texture is awesome and it has plenty of articulation. I bought this 6 yrs ago, and today no other versions of Spiderman has really impressed me....IMO. I feel the McFarlane is still the best version out of all the Spiderman action figures.

I personally like the Amazing Spider-Man 2 wave, Amazing Spider-Man figure... I know the shoulders are a bit strange, but I have a lot of fun posing that figure. And, I just have to mention that I too, really dig the Ben Reilly/Spider-Carnage figure quite a bit, but I do have to say, it's not one of my favorite Spidey head sculpts. It seems to just be a bit odd shaped IMO. ...and I've never owned pizza Spidey but I believe, from what I've seen, that it has the same head sculpts as the BR figure. Sik

The suit with the glowy accents is called the Spider-Armor Mk IV. The angular webbing is supposed to represent armored panels and the glow is supposed to be like Iron Man's arc reactor. marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Spider-Armor_MK_IV The story it's from (All New All Different Spider-Man) is pretty solid. I recommend you read it.

i think that the urban legends spidey is more marvel vs capcom accurate, i have it pose just like the marvel vs capcom pose, i really recommend that one a bot more than the mcfarlane if you are into the vs series!

If you gave the paint detail and articulation of the McFarlane spidey to the pizza spidey mold it might be the best spidey figure to date. The only things that I'm not a fan of on the figure are the articulated fingers and the really skinny build. The fingers are good for a relaxed and thwipping pose but I can't imagine them looking good in a fist. Also I know spiderman is supposed to be skinny but certainly not to the point of looking like a Tim burton stop motion puppet. He gives the impression that he can't even support his own weight let alone fight supervillains twice his size.

For me, all other Spider-Man figures became obsolete once the Mafex one came out. I know he's really expensive, but with the accessories and articulation it removes the need for any of these other figures. Really hope they give us a Black Suit Spidey, but in the meantime, the Mafex is the only Spider-Man figure for me.

I'm really disappointed I got into these figures so late. I can't find any of these for a decent price. They're all around $60-$100. Luckily I got my first three figures on pre order. The new symbiote suit spider man, hobgoblin and a diamond select venom. I just wish I could get the scarlet spider and Spider-Man PS4 figures.

Pretty decent list. If you like the light blue though I'm surprised the Vintage Wave Classic Spider-Man wasn't on there instead of the Raft figure. And the Snap Shot Spider-Man is basically the same figure as the Sinister Six Spidey, but with classic light blue. In fact I read that the Snap Shot figure was based on the artwork of Ross Andru. Doesn't get much more classic than that. Also, your #5 pick of teenage Spider-Man from the Vulture 2-pack is actually based on the "Ultimate Spider-Man Animated Series". You can tell because it doesn't have the red going down his arms and connecting to his gloves. The one from the Space Venom wave is based on the Ultimate Spider-Man comic.

I always thought Snapshot was based on John Romita Sr. Which was funny because the one from the Sinister Six pack with mostly the same body seems to be based off (especially early) John Romita Jr. The very light blue seems to be a John Romita Sr. thing, but other than that i suppose Ross Andru and John Romita both drew Spidey similarly.

@@theraven268 I always thought that too, but I read an interview a few years back with someone from ToyBiz (I think Jesse Falcon), and he said that Snap Shot Spidey was actually supposed to be based on Ross Andru's art. I was surprised by that. But the first Spider-Man comic I can remember buying off the spinner rack was drawn by Andru, so I also thought it was pretty cool. In addition he said that the old super-posable "McFarlane" Spider-Man was actually based on J. Scott Campbell's art. I guess since a lot of these guys draw things very similarly, it's hard to tell what's what in figure form.

I never got the McFarlane Spider-man, it was just too expensive on the secondary market, so I settled for the Fearsome Foes Spider-man. The head has an odd shape, mostly its profile, but other than that it's the same body and paint and I really like it.

I recommend getting the Spiderman Classics Battle Action figure (if you can find it for a decent price and swapping the heads (carefully). It's basically as good a headsculpt as "McFarlane" and fits the coloring on the Fearsome Foes figure.

Spider-man #6 from the ToyRus 2 pack is from the "All New All Different" Comic series in 2015. I think he's based on the Parker Industries Alex Ross suit. Definitely check out some of the comic covers to see him in the pages. I'm still looking for this guy.

I do still, love the mid 80s black suit. I had the vintage pizza spidey I still currently only own the ultimate spider-man from that vulture two pack. I do like the teen male body however, the last one I thought I wanted was the one with poor neck articulation has butterfly joints bit that gap under the chin. I wanna say the retro carded one from a couple of years ago. I was disappointed to say the least.

For me, I'd put the more recent Spideman 2099 suit closer to the top. As well as the PS4 gameverse suit. But I overall agree with this line up. Any idea of where I can get the gameverse spiderman...for a decent price. Can't find him on BBTS, gamestop's site, and on Amazon and toywiz he's ridiculously expensive. I'd like to pick up the OG 2099 suit and the Superior Spiderman from the Monster Green Goblin BAF but anything from those earlier infinite series waves are expensive.

I actually wanted the McFarlane spider man for a long time however COMA I just feel that it does not match in with your hasbro collection. Sure, it has a lot of articulation but that suffered because that made the figure look really disproportionate and not comparable with your newer and more sleek collection.

Almost all Spider-Man figures (especially blue and red ones) go up in price on the aftermarket. Hasbro have done decently in rereleasing them, but they also change colors so if you want them all it's actually worse (sort of). The better bet is to get the Retro Pizza Spidey if you want that body, but that's also gone up now i think.
