Just a list of some Manhwas/Manhuas that I'm currently following. Most, if not all, are Korean. Good reads: 1. Worn and Torn Newbie (virtual MMO, time regression story- casual read, but a fun, good read) 2. Dungeon Reset (fun story, innovative writing, good casual read) 3. A Gate Opened on my First Day as a Politician (great story, great writing, good characters, interesting development. Biggest downside is early in release(21ch), but has potential) Great, almost amazing reads: 3. Leveling With the Gods(only has 60 chapters but so far it's amazing, on the same level as The World After the End, if not better. Lots of potential) 4. The Max Level Hero Has Returned(recently got it's 2nd "season"(100+chapters), it's a very good manhua, a casual read with relatively dark undertones) 5. Reformation of the Deadbeat Noble(casual read with dark undertones, fantasy demon-focus world. Great character development and design, decent story, good fight scenes.) 6. Regressor Instruction Manual(quite far from perfect, but amazing in what it does. Dark story, rather insidious MC, good if not great characters, amazing story, great intrigue and interesting, unexpected plot developments.) Amazing reads: 6. Worthless Regression(very, very good read. It's very dark and has a great and unique artstyle which only gets better in later chapters. Great story, great characters, great MC. Only downside is few chapters.) 7. Absolute Sword Sense (this one is a gamble, so far it looks great- and it has the potential to be really, really good, but it only has 12 chapters. Great art. Possibly the best fight scenes I've seen) Must reads: 1. Solo Leveling (It's getting an anime release, after it's manhwa release gained lots of popularity. The LN is amazing, and the art for the manhwa is just perfect, so it's no surprise that it got so popular. It's a power fantasy done well, and I can't NOT recommend it when it's about to get an anime release.) 2. SSS-Class Suicide Hunter I couldn't recommend it more. It's practically perfection, at least the LN is just that good, I'd recommend it to anyone who reads LNs. I've heard so many good things about the manhwa that I need to recommend it even though I've yet to read it myself(past the first arc, which was great). The story and characters are good to the point of being amazing, even if the manhwa adaptation failed, it'd still be a great read. And by the looks of it, the manhwa didn't fail, but rather surpassed my expectations through it's art, and how the artist encapsulates the MC's essence, who's character and development is the best out of any work of fiction I've read. Just read it. SSS-Class Suicide Hunter. Really bad name, which caused me to skip it a few times in the past- but it'll grow on you.

Author tried to make a story inspired by different hunter manhwas but in the end he made a mess. The most bad thing about this manhwa are the fight scenes. They are transitioned very badly. Overall it is readable but nothing great.

I avoid everything that outright tells me the protagonist is cheating. OP is fine, but when a series is like "the protagonist became invincible because we randomly gave him a super weapon that made him OP ten seconds later." The chance of anything remotely like that happening are about the same as having Joe Biden accidentally do something rude to you, then proceed to give you the nuclear football as an apology. If your logic is that poorly thought out, then I shudder to think what the rest of your fiction would be like.

They all look the same :/ I remember watching a video in which a pro artist would explain how to design a good, memorable MC. You know what is the rule? That when you see just the shadow of the character you can recognize the series. Like when you see Goku's silhouette, whole painted black, you would still know it's Goku. Same goes with Luffy and his hat, same goes with Gon, Naruto etc. Now look at those MCs and try to tell any difference between them... It's getting kinda boring, almost feels like Webtoon artists only see money that will definately come if they simply design an egdy boy who's OP and recks everyone.

If i want to experiance completing dungeons and killing monsters repeatedly i'd just play an MMO or RPG If there is one thing i noticed in theese webtoons that is different from japanese manga is that manga has far more depth.
