That's not the same thing as dying directly from it. That may seem line a fine line, but it's an important distinction. He also struggled with depression for a long time before that, which is something an unfortunate amount of creative and intelligent people are even more prone to, sadly.

I got tested for that gene that carries breast cancer last year, as all the women on my Father's side of the family has died from it. Luckily neither my sister or I carry that gene, but I would recommend anyone with a family history of breast cancer to get tested. Better now than when it's too late.
