Yakitate's actually a really fun series. They made it back before every reaction had to be a literal foodgasm, so the results tended to be more abstract and Japanese pun-related. It also has a seriously great ending credit sequence with one of the characters dancing disco to a banger of a theme song

how is Lucky Star a runner up, and they used an out of context clip that doesn't represent what's typical for the show at all, but Nichijou didn't even make the list? also, Golden Kamuy needed to be here because there's a whole OVA (the fourth one) that you can't even find without pirating it, because a man literally fucks a bear in the ass. and that's not out of character for the show! and Dorohedoro needed to be in here... the baseball episode alone would justify it, but the show's entire premise is very weird. and I agree with the people saying Panty and Stocking needed to be here. and Cromartie High School. but idk, I feel like wacky gag manga adaptations are almost cheating... they're all weird in a similar way.

Here's just a few other strange anime concepts to think over. Neptunia the animation: What if your game consoles were actually magical girls. Bodacious Space Pirates: When pirates can legally rob people. Outlaw star meets K-on art. Ben-to: Street fighter in a convenience store because of discount food. Uma musume: Life and times of race horses...but its anime, so they are also humanized and idols. Saki: Just normal Mahjong.....with super powers. Keijo: Totally a "sports" anime, with a lot of attacks taken from other shows. Shimoneta: "Totally normal life", nothing considered bad allowed...until one girl snaps and suddenly "love cookies". Kemono Friends: Think Jurassic park or post apocalyptic. Decaying abandoned part full of mystery....but with cheerful animals turned humans.

There's a sequel? 😱 Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan. - I laughed and laughed some more. Very good. FLCL - barely remember it. I know it was good but I couldn't tell you anything that happened.
