If that were the case, Disney would have never put the impressions in the film, let alone animate them, because the film had to be in the past. Disney needs to make every movie "perfect" which means being accurate to a time period. So, they would never let Robin do the impressions, because they would need to keep the film in the past.

Gaston did not kill Bambi's mother. Here's how I know. 1: Bambi and his mom are whitetail deer, an American species.(Interestingly though, in the book, they were roe deer) Beauty and the Beast takes place in France. 2: Why would Gaston waste his time and shots on a doe? He loves antlers.

Yeah it just would make no sense for Gaston to kill a Doe of all things. He wanted to kill agile things like ducks, strong things like bears, and things he could decorate his walls with, aka the antlers from bucks. Though, for all we know, he just went out into the forest and grabbed shed antlers off the ground. XD

1) You're pointing out that they are an American species despite the fact that nearly everyone in what is supposedly "France" speaks with either over the top American or over the top British accents. 2) They were in the middle of a snow storm and he probably couldn't see to good. Plus, yeah he loves antlers but clearly not every animal on his wall had antlers if you watch the scene.

That lion is revealed seconds later showing us it was scar. Also considering that according to mythology his Very first mission was to kill a lion it would all make sense ( sry for bad English)

That is false Selune. Neverland being a place where people never grow up is all wrong, because number 1 Peter Pan murders anyone who gets too old to be considered a lost boy, number 2 the Native Americans and pirates are portrayed as grown ups, and number 3 there is another dark theory as well that Neverland is not actually what prevents Peter Pan from aging but not having his shadow. From a t.v show that no longer airs called "Once upon a time" for example it reveals that the reason why Pater Pan never grows up is because he was missing his shadow.

The other impossibility of it being Bambi's mom - Does do not have antlers. Bragging hunters from Gaston's time went after big males and brought back their racks (antlers) to prove what an amazing kill they had. A doe wouldn't be worth anything when it comes to bragging rights. My only question about Chip is...who are the other little cups in the cupboard?? Mrs. Potts calls them his brothers and sisters!!!

Well, europeans came to polynesia pretty late, for example Abel Tasman "discovered" New Zealand in 1642. Which is in the 17th century. Before europeans came, polynesian culture was still similar to how it is portrayed in Moana, so the timeframe could still fit.

My theory: The child calling Sulley "Kitty" at the end of the movie is not Boo, but Boo's daughter, that's why the tone of her voice is similar but slightly different. The reason she recognizes him is because her mom tells her a bedtime story about him. So when he opens the door, you're seeing his surprise of seeing an older Boo and her daughter and that she never forgot him. :) EDIT: Thanks for 161 likes! Wow!

Since monsters university is canon then it is shown that they age at the same rate as us. Since Sully was still relatively the same age when he saw boo again then it's likely her. I love your theory though, it's actually really heart warming, especially compared to all the other ones

I was waiting for the theory that Tarzan is Anna and Elsa’s brother. I’ve only heard some of the theories on this list. And some of them are arguably more farfetched than others so that shouldn’t have kept this one out of the list. Not that I personally believe in this one or anything on the list really, but I find them interesting. So it’s a shame it’s been overlooked.

My theory on the genie is that since the genie is an immortal being with god-like powers he is both omnipresent (exists in everywhere at the same time) & nigh omnipotent (“phenomenal cosmic power” but has limitations on said power i.e. can’t bring back the dead, can’t make anybody fall in love with anybody else) So when he made the car appear or portrayed Arsenio Hall, Arnold Schwarzenegger or Jack Nicholson it was just things that he knew were going to be one day but probably had Aladdin freaking out.

Here’s a better theory Bambies mom was killed by Amos Slaid from Fox in the hound. Evidence: 1) Both take place in the early 20th century (1920s-40’s) 2) Amis Slaid is shown to be a morally bankrupt hunter 3) He was our hunting in winter during the movies transition 5) A accurate rifle was needed to take down a moving target ( a 18th century blunderbuss could never do that) 4) He comes back with a hefty pile of furs, any one could have been Bambies mom.

Doesn't the timeline in "Beauty & the Beast" suggest that the Beast was an eleven year old boy when he was cursed? How could he father a child with the Enchantress unless that already crazy woman was also a predator... Then again, that would explain why she was bothering a young prince in the middle of a dark night... Damn Disney!!

Well, there was a theory that the beast was possibly 15 years old due to a misplacement in time by the enchantress's curse and the servants being in the castle say they been there for 10 years bit in reality they're in there for 5 instead. I got this from wotso videos and i'm not so sure about this theory.

The theory is, that Tarzan's parents are Anna and Elsa's and when their ship wrecked they somehow drifted from european waters down to tropical waters... And while fighting to survive decided it would be a great idea to have another child... And then they promptly die to a jag- leopard? Which was it because that's actually kinda important... The theory get's even more convoluted because people then claim Jane is related to Belle, mostly because they look alike which couldn't possibly be the victorians had a love for reviving older cultures and tweaking them to fit their needs. Neo Egyptian anybody? It gets eeeeven more convoluted because people claim that Rapunzel might even be related to Anna and Elsa's mother. Again, based on appearance. Never mind the royalty gene pool is was so mucked up... I mean, Rep being related to Anna and Elsa isn't so strange. It was rare to find royalty of a flourishing country that wasn't related to the royalty of some other country in some distant way. Alliances were often bought and sealed with marriage. But their mother also being the mother of tarzan? Who then marries the great grand daughter of Belle? It just seems too conveniently connected. Another issue is, Anna has red hair, Elsa has blond, but Tarzan has... Brown? I know little genetic quirks can hide in genes, but... And while I know tarzan could just be tanned from exposure to nature, idk...

As a hunter I think I can take apart the Bambi theory. In the Bambi movie the hunter was most likely using a rifle (or a shotgun) due to how quickly he was able to chamber a round and fire at certain points, Gaston has a blunderbuss (which must be muzzle loaded like a musket), not to mention Gaston’s weapon is too inaccurate to shoot at the distances the hunter in Bambi does, Gaston would have to get closer and in his bright red he’d spook the deer before even getting a shot. Bambi is a white tail deer (found in the Americas) and Beauty and the Beast takes place in Europe. Further evidence are the other wildlife in Bambi (like the skunk). Also Bambi’s mother was a doe and the heads in the tavern are all bucks. Whoever created this theory is definitely not a hunter

Also the later scene in Bambi where Faline (Bambi's mate) is being chased by the dogs: My theory for a while was that the hunters were actually with the dogs, but the movie didn't show the hunters because, well, the movie focuses on the animals. Bambi kicks the cr@p out of the dogs to protect his mate and as he jumps over the ravine a shot rings out and he's hit. I figured it was the hunter that had the dogs, I mean, wouldn't you shoot a deer that just beat the living daylights and possibly killed some of your hunting dogs? But then I realized it was likely a shotgun pellet that hit him. Notice that the main critters being targeted are game birds, rabbits, etc., and are likely being hunted with shotguns, and in the later scene when the fire is starting, Bambi's struggling to get up-- at the urging of his old man. Why would a hunter out for deer use a shotgun and not a rifle? So likely the dogs got loose from their owner, yada yada, Bambi drove them off, leaped over the ravine, and was either: 1. Hit by some stray pellets. 2. Some naive young hunter, eager to get his first deer, saw the opportunity and went for it, despite having the wrong type of firearm. Then just when he was out looking for his victim to end its suffering, hopefully after being chewed out by an older person for unethical hunting practices!--his buddies came along and told him they need to get out due to the fire. Now don't get me wrong--Bambi's mother's death was sad, but was it cruel? No. It was more due to her personality, Heck, Bambi and his mom could have been feral hogs or dung beetles or something less pleasant and as long as Bambi had those big brown eyes and that childlike innocence and his mom had that warm, caring maternal personality and voice--the audience is likely to weep when something horrible happens to her and the cute, wide-eyed animal child is left motherless. And was it a hunter that did the deed? Perhaps. Perhaps it was a poacher. Maybe there was a bounty set out because the deer population was getting too high? Did they know their victim was the mother of the pre-destined Prince of the Forest? No, lol. Besides, I think Bambi had run ahead before the people saw him. :) Bambi is a great movie for what it is, in my opinion. I do think it could have been better if more time and character/story development had been added to it--this was likely due to cost restraints due to WWII. Maybe if the movie had back-and-forth viewpoints of the animals and the humans, instead of making the humans these invisible "wraiths" that stalk the forest and shoot things. That was long, wasn't it? Oh well as Peter Pan said, "Girls talk too much." :D P.S.: I'm not a hunter myself, but I'm tired of the "All hunters are sadistic cold-blooded killers" stereotypes.

I've known deer hunters that used shotguns loaded with deer slugs as opposed to shells with pellets. The whole problem is, we have people who believe nothing exists in isolation: everything has to be interconnected in ways *beyond* the fact that all of these movies were made by the same studio and the people who work there know the past history (so it isn't that the mermaid in PETER PAN looks like Ariel; it's that Ariel looks like the mermaid in PETER PAN...if a certain character model works, stay with it). But these people don't buy that: there are no coincidences, as they see it, so we get these results.

A dictionary is a book of set factual words with meanings that have been predated for decades or even centuries so that's the worst choice for something to pick apart and dissect. Movies were not made just to enjoy. Movies are meant to be an experience, they're meant to pull you out of the world you live in and transport you to other realms and yet they're something we can all relate to with people and characters we can identify with. The reason so many movies are left open ended is because the film makers are literally saying we want you to dissect this, we want you to think about this. If you claim movies are just to enjoy and not to give though to then watch 2001 A Space Odyssey or The Shinning. Hell, watch an episode of the 60s Star Trek show. The point of many of those episodes and their conclusions is to make the audience think, to make them put the details together and come up with their own analysis. Movies are not just popcorn blow off fun, at least not all of them. Because they shouldn't be, they're not meant to be anyway.

With bambi mom, most modern hunters will not kill a doe, because they want them to populate and really they look for stags. So for this hunter to kill bambi must have done it for her meat. Back then it wasn't uncommon for hunters to kill both stags and doe. It could have been Gaston.

Theory number two is untrue based off of what they actually say in the movie. At some point, they mention that something bad (can't remember what, either he dies or something else happens) if he doesn't find love by his twenty-first birthday, right? But during the "Be Our Guest" song, Lumiere says that they've been "rusting" as living objects for ten years. Beast was actually 11 at the time, despite his depiction in the movie's opening mosaic sequence, shown at 9:22. So unless the enchantress molested a child in the backstory of a Disney movie, there is no way Chip can be the son of the beast.

I was saying that maybe the 10 years that they spent with "no guests", without the possibility of showing or training their skills, included many years in their human forms (they and the Prince), before the enchantment. It makes sense that the Prince was a lonely person and his castle was isolated from the outside. Therefore, he could be an adult when the old lady came and cursed him. And maybe he's carrying the rose and all is enchanted since only two or three years..
