I know Tappei is the author and all but I can't buy it for a second that Marcos is anywhere near Roswaal's level. Roswaal has over 400 years of experience and has selectively bred with the most powerful magicians of each generation to increase the magical potency of each descendant. Roswaal could just fly a mile in the air and rain down al-goas all day if he wanted to, and Tappei has stated that he could even take down the White Whale alone. It was a good choice to leave Marcos off the list. I would've left Wilhelm off the list too though. He's strong but there are much stronger characters than even prime Wilhelm that we've seen in action. Beatrice is a good example. Before she used up all of her mana after contracting with Subaru she was able to fly, teleport, engulf an entire mansion in an incredibly powerful shamak, and rain down magical stakes that explode into fragments and shred any nearby enemies into pieces. She was also accurate enough with those stakes that she was able to pin Elsa to the wall by her hands, feet, and heart, while firing through a shamak. I don't think Wilhelm would last 20 seconds against her. Other than that it's a pretty good list in my opinion.

So, the only reason why I think Satella and Reinhard are on even footing is because despite the plethora of divine protections that Reinhard has, Satella's domain is time (My theory is driven by the fact that Subaru has the authority of RBD, which in essence is manipulating time itself) My theory is the reason why Reinhard can't kill Satella is because she can literally counter everything he does. But at the same time, Reinhard is immortal. That's why there is the stalemate.

Forcing Reinhardt to take an authority works too, as when somebody takes an authority, their blessings gets taken away. So you can technically kill him by making him kill a sin Archbishop, thus forcing the witch factor into him, removing his blessings. There is a flaw in this plan though. 1.) you need to make him fight an archbishop, which is very hard as all the sin archbishops are very secretive excluding sloth. 2.) there should be no one else at the battlefield as the witch factor may find them more compatible and make them the host. 3.) Reinhardt might find out about the plan using his “Intuition” blessing.

According to Tappei, Halibel most likely won't appear in the main story. However, considering the fact that all 4 countries will be involved, he still has a chance to appear. Especially because of how powerful he is, and his connections to Subaru in 2 of the IF stories.

Two corrections: - Sekhmet was able to fight with Volcanica, not beat him. Volcanica would probably fit in somewhere around Regulus, either just behind him or before him. Sekhmet being able to put up a fight against him, makes her hella hella strong. - Puck would be able to defeat Regulus ONLY if all of Regulus' wives were near enough for him to freeze them. The farther they're away, the less chances he has to defeat Regulus. Other than that, amazing amazing job. You've made the most accurate Re:Zero strength comparison I've ever seen on KZbin. Great job bro

Ceciius was able to kill Roswaal in the WrathIF, but that was with a surprise attack, so i´m uncertain if Cecilius could be Roswaal in a fair fight. The best argument for Cecilius being stronger than Roswaal is that Cecilius in the WrathIF was able to actually damage Reinhard, which is a pretty good feat.

@@Nanoedge3888 true he has no magical ability but he is a spirit art user and spirit arts are indeed a form of magic. he can draw magical energy from his surroundings and use that to attack that is what he did with Elsa and puck. He was rejected by all the elements and he has no mana of his own but through spirit arts he can make up for that.

Well Subaru is very complicated to rank. In a 1v1 match against all of the people here, theres no way he could win without breaking his mind first. His effectivity cant be measured easily, I guess "strong" isnt really the most accurate way to describe him.

Subaru's most effective battle tactic isn't really to fight the current bad guy head-on anyway, it's to gather as many OP allies he can find and coordinate them to do the heavy lifting. That's kind of impossible to quantify, because it really depends on who he has on hand - though luckily for him, he's not lacking in OP allies.

Well, we saw in the Wrath Route that Cecilus beat Roswaal. I personally think he is stronger than Roswaal since he is stated to be one of the 2 Swordsmen on Reinhard's level of power.

keep in mind Wrath IF is not canon. Also during Wrath IF Roswaal is depressed since Ram is "dead" (she is still technically alive in subaru's dungeon) and Rem died of the curse so he lost the 2 maids he cared about. The gospel's writ is also off course and we know that when that happens roswaal wants to die, thus he essentially died to cecilus on purpose. Keep in mind I did say a fair fight, just a reminder that if cecilus/Roswaal were ever in an arena roswaal could just fly and bombard cecilus with spells. I will say that in my earlier draft I did place cecilus ABOVE Roswaal. But i read that tappei considers Puck/Roswaal on equal power.

@@Jakez123 actually it's canon, just different route also cecilus harmed reinhard even if his blessings weakeaned state because author confirmed other than broken characters reinhard can beat any character without blessings with just sword skills and bloodline talent (probably even rooswaal but not regulus that's what I mean by broken) Cecilus's 2 swords came from same 10 set like reinhards dragon sword somewhat same level but we don't know what ability 2 swords have. In my opinion it's obvious Cecilus is stronger than rooswaal but also roswaal can kill Cecilus too with prep time because Cecilus just want fight type but roswaal is mad for his purpose. When Puck and roswaal's fight mentioned in anime, anime showed pucks contracted form not true one also cecilus's sword %100 at least will damage Puck when you think where they come from, Puck also has disadvantages in true form he is so big and cecilus is literally like a thunder roeswall dodge him which impressive but I don't think Puck can in his any form.

Minerva is definitely the weakest person in the whole series: because her nature and her authority forbids her from harming anyone. But in terms of danger: when Minerva heals someone, a disaster happens in a part of the world. Reinhard and Satella are stated by the author himself that if the pair would ever fight each other, it would be a draw: with Reinhard unable to bypass her immortality while Satella being unable to land a finishing blow. If Daphne ever fought: Louis, Roy and Lye it would be a draw and that is saying something about Daphne strength. Volcania is the strongest if sharing 1st place with Reinhard and Satella, in (SPOILERS) Arc 6 he was able to overwhelm Emilia's ice soldiers which are harder than steel while was able to scorch Satella's shadows within seconds.

We also don't know who would win whatever fight he was talking about, since he said "Roughly a stalemate." Volcania is not equal to Reinharft and Satella. Sehkmet is about equal to Volcania, and it was gonna take all of Sehkmet and Echidna's strength to force a [weakened] version of Satella out of what is literally a world that belongs to Echidna, meaning Echidna and Sehkmet held the immense advantage.

@@fire-ro1wm We know for a fact that it must be all three at once because Roswaal is stated to be able to beat any individual archbishop except Regulus and he has been stated to be weaker than Daphne like 50 times. In terms of purely power Volchanica is absolutely on par with Rein and Satella. That has been stated like 50 times and there is nothing that actually contradicts it. Volchanica could have either not wanted to actually fight her since they weren't on bad terms or most likely it could have been because, as Echidna said, Sekhmet hard counters Volchanica.

This would be my list even attempting to include characters we don't know Alot about or haven't shown up in the main story. 1.Reinhardt: Built Different. 2. Satella: closest thing to a god. Took a sword Saint, sage and divine dragon to just seal her. 3. Reid: Can cut authorities in some way with just chopsticks. Can cut of the heads of everyone accept for Rein and Tella. Would be a difficult fight for Reinhardt. 4. Pandora: this is purely speculation on my part but considering the things we've seen her do I believe she atleast stalemates Alot of people who'd be stronger. Though she hasn't really displayed much in pure combat ability. 5. Regulus: Stalemate nearly every character stronger than him as long as you don't know how his ability works bar Reid. 6. Volcanica/Sekhmet: The second strongest witch of sin didn't exactly die to volcanica but supposedly fought on near equal terms. We also got see a fraction of Volcanic as power at the end of arc 6 and this is a safe spot considering the authors top 5 list. 7. Cecilus: Managed to kill Roswaal in If story and has injured Reinhardt forcing him to draw his sword. Pure swordsmanship alone is on the same level as POL Wilheim. I would only put him a smidge above Roswaal and Puck though since the If story kill wasn't really on equal terms. Still, he has two holy swords and is Vollachias strongest warrior. 8. Roswaal/Puck/Echidna? : Are stated numerous times to be about equals. Puck can quite literally end the world. Roswaal is the strongest mage in lugunica and both are masters In all forms of magic. Echidna is atleast maybe even more skilled than Roswaal in magic. Its said her physical abilities are abysmal but she has a unique way of fighting. Not enough info really. 8.5. White Whale gate keeping: Anyone above this rank could probably solo the Whale and maybe rabbits. Id also probably put the other great spirits around here like Zarestia (with her light orb) and Melekuwara. Maybe the mad Prince from Gisteko as supposedly Rein would have to draw his sword again him. 9. Typhon: 3rd strongest witch that can just shatter you to pieces. Honestly not really sure how shes stronger than Daphne but until disproven what Tappei says goes. Supposedly there's a higher level to her authority. 10. Daphne: 4th strongest witch can make anyone become so hungry they'd eat themselves by just looking at them with one eye. Can also create mabeasts. If she were to fight the gluttony trio it would apparently be a draw. 11. Rui Arneb: Her authority and solar and lunar eclipse give her some of the highest versitality in the world. One touch and your literally gone. Can also split herself up. 12. Shaula: Subaru speculated to compare her with Regulus in terms of power during arc 6. Hellsnipe is an op light speed Ability that can't seem to be stopped by any magical means. And was just onyl disabled by BEAKO and Subaru's absolute defense magic. 13: Halibel fought the great spirit Zarestia as well as matches Reinhard in martial skill. Can make Clones, give curses and is a master assassin. 14. Lye Batenkaitos/Roy Alpharad: see above about Rui but without the duplication. Also doesn't like using solar eclipse while Rui has no such qualms. 15. Carmilla/Cappela Emerada Lugunica: Carmilla makes people so enraptured by her beauty that they'd forget to breathe and their heart would stop beating. Tappei says she would also just barely beat Cappela. Cappela is nearly impossible to kill due to her ability of variation and change. Can turn into a dragon and also infect you with cursed blood.(Carmilla is probably not actually this strong and maybe just beats Capella due to compatibility.) 16. Hector. Easily stomped young Roswaal who is said to be equal to arc 6 Emilia. This is slight speculation based on that. 17.Julius Juukulius (post arc 6) The 2nd strongest imperial night with 6 fully developed spirits. Beat a severely weakened Reid Astrea/Roy alpharad.

@@fire-ro1wm interesting but I'd probably say all the great spirits are stronger then shaula and maybe daphne/Typhon. If all of them ar around Malekuaaras (or however you spell it) level then they'd easily stomp Prime Wilheim and others. I didn't rank Echidna as despite her mastery in magic her reaction time and physical abilities are said to be abysmal so I'd assume any fast character could beater (though Tappei said she has an interesting way of fighting.) Puck would easily beat Cappela. Ram full potential wouldn't be stronger then Regulus. I agree that I ranked to Shaula to high. Can you explain why you ranked FO Felix so high?

@@MangoRiko Echidna is difficult to scale cause of her Book of Wisdom, but in combat Echidna =/< Roswal=/< Puck Sehkmet > Typhon > Daphne > Echidna = Carmilla > Minerva. That means Dalhne and Typhon are at [least] = to Roswal. Daphne’s “Eating” > Right Eye >> her Left Eye, which is already OP. She can also command Ma-Beast armies. And Typhon > Daphne so she is one above Daphne.

I don’t understand how roswaal was placed above Cecils. In the Obereru IF, Roswaal was completely obliterated by him and had his arm and head amputated with relative ease. Cecils should be a lot higher. I think you know the arguments about him doing stuff in Oboreru, so I have 2 different better arguments. Volume 4 EX, Felix confirmed that Reinhard is the only one capable of dealing with Cecils in Lugunica. Even Marcos, who's almost equal to Roswaal can't deal with Cecils according to Felix words. Also, Ram confirmed that the strongest of various nations come close to Reinhard. Even the author when had to explain how Dragon Reid Sword works said "there are situations when he can't draw It EVEN against the strongest of others nations". Implying that the strongest of others nations are likely the strongest beings alive after Reinhard. Even one of the divine generals, Arakiya, has the power of One of the 4 Great Spirit, Muspel.

Yeah, Daphne is in a really weird spot right now. I dont think the fandom's info about what would happen if Daphne fights the Sin Archbishops of Gluttony comes into a *draw* "accurate". I think Daphne stomps on all of them with no problemo considering the author said she could eat the whale in one bite or sumshit. I dont know if any of those are legit, but its in the fandom so whatever. Personally if I were to assume and create my own top 10 strongest/most powerful, it would go like this: 1. Great video, but one question: wouldn't Cecilius be above Roswaal? I say this because (SPOILERS): In the Wrath If, Subaru sends Cecilus to kill Roswaal, which he is able to do. He makes a surprise attack on Roswaal, however Roswaal sees through it and avoids fatal damage (he only gets his hand chopped off). Following, they chat for a bit and then Cecilus easily kills Roswaal, which implies that he could have one shot him if he wanted anyway - my thoughts are that he made a semi-casual sword slash the first time, which is why Roswaal was able to barely avoid it, which however impressed Cecilus enough for him to reveal the identity of his employer to Roswaal.

This is a breath of fresh air considering how awful most lists are, including the one in the video. Volchanica and Satella should definitely be switched. Even if Satella is slightly weaker she's still immortal so she would eventually win. Remember that even with Reid and Flugel's help he was unable to take her down. Shaula should be somewhere around the level of Ram, Regulus, and Sekhmet. Tappei said that if Reinhard really wanted to he could have easily killed Regulus. He also said that him, Sekhmet, and Ram are "like dangos under" Reinhard. All this implies they'd be easily killed. Compare this to Shaula who 1. Was able to make Reid fight seriously 2. Has hellsnipe which Reinhard was barely able to outrun 3. Was shown to be just as fast ss her hellsnipe in Gluttony if. All this paints a pretty clear picture that at the bare minimum she is stronger than Puck. As for who could fill the last spot there are quite a few contenders. There's Hector, Clind, Yorna, Olbart, and Typhon.

Clind was able to pretty easily take out Marcos, Julius, and whoever else was there which isn't enough to get him in the top 10 but I mostly just included him because he might be stronger. It’s pretty much the same reason as Hector. We don't know their limits. All we know is that they're very strong. Cecilus and Arikiya were completely incapable of even damaging Yorna and Olbart matched her. Right now the best candidate we have is definitely Typhon but the others are there just to say "well they could be stronger than her". We don't really know.

@@HectorWitcher You are probably the only person I have ever seen argue Reid is stronger than Satella. If you go by pure attacking power alone your list would be completely messed up. For example, Elsa, who was a fairly close match for Garfiel, would be nowhere near him. Closer to him than someone like Rem but still much weaker. If Satella beats Reid due to her being immortal and beats everyone weaker than him why would we not place her higher? It's debatable whether he actually is stronger in attacking power anyways. Admittedly, saying she's on the same level as Regulus and Sekhmet was probably a stretch but I still completely believe she is stronger than Puck. I'm not sure why you are using Julius against her when him beating her is basically his only feat. It's impossible to know how much Reid was weakened and he hasn't done anything but fight both of them since he got buffed. That being said, I also believe that she seems weaker in her scorpion form than her normal one. The sole reason I believe this is because I can't see Julius having been buffed to that great of an extent. However, he did say he thought he might beat Reinhard. Obviously he doesn't know the full extent of Reinhard's power but it shows that it certainly wasn't a small buff. Reinhard not killing the wives is a matter of personality not power. Just because someone doesn’t want to do something doesn’t mean they can’t. By that logic Subaru is stronger than Julius because he would never be willing to kill him (even at the beginning of their relationship when it was hostile). Regardless of how serious Reid was fighting, making him HAVE to use two hands is an impressive feat. Even just one arm should be fast enough to block any barrage that someone like Puck can throw at him. IMO from what all I've read. in the middle of arc 7 have not seen much of Ceclius. 1. Reinhardt/ Satella Tied 2. Reid. 3. Sekhemt 4. Pandora 5. Ceclius 6. True form Puck 7. Volcanica 8. Regulus. 9. Roswall. 10 Shaula. I didn't put ram with horn up there because canonicaly we've never seen what she could do, it's just assumptions which is not fair to the rest of the characters. Clind is also up there as an unhonerable mention. He is seriously underrated. He can go invisable, teleport, super human reflexs/ strength and has Hectors powers.

He also said a fight between Reinhard and Volcanica would be like Godzilla vs Ghidorah which makes him possibly the second strongest character in Re: Zero. Also Shaula was created by Daphne, who is stronger than all her creations, which means Typhon and Daphne are stronger than Shaula.

Regulus was Patheticly weak. He is way more than strong enough for the Dragon Sword, but the Dragon sword did 't acknowledge him because he is the pinnacle of garbage and is weaker than shit. His Authority is what makes him string. The Dragon Sword couldn't be drawn on Subaru in Pride If, despite Subaru having The Authority of Envy: Return by Death. Regulus Authority of Greed: 'Stillness of an Objects Time' is what makes him good, so the sword didn't acknowledge him. If it were Capella, or Gluttony, then Gluttonh has the memories and experiences of his victims so his strength kinda counts as his own, and Capella transforms down to her Gate and Od. So the dragin Sword would acknowledge the two of them as worthy.

Reinhard can’t beat regulus mainly because he cant get past regulus’ invulnerability. Tappei has stated that Reinhard can win if he went “all out” however if that happened he would kill the wives and thus be able to kill regulus. So Reinhard could easily win if he didn’t care about that. However Tappei said Reinhard isn’t the sort of person who would kill the wives for the sake of winning. Reid Astrea can cut through authorities so he is a weird exception. And puck is weaker than regulus and he can only win if it’s long ranged and overall regulus is stronger. Tappei says that most fights can go both ways. Another example is Beatrice. Tappei has stated that Beatrice could beat puck in his true form, however the most of the time puck would win. I mainly listed the characters in the order Tappei said they are in.

Shaula was shown in Gluttony if to also move at lightning speeds since Garfiel was able to react to her hellsnipe from how far away it was and she basically teleported to him in what looked like an instant for him. In other words she is just as fast as Hellsnipe is. The same hellsnipe that traveled the distance of a ten km long desert "without allowing enough time to even blink". And she didn't even seem to be trying there. She also made Reid of all people use two hands and is implied to be stronger than Daphne. She also literally killed Rosaaal although the rest should put her waaaaaaay above him. I would say that would put her higher up on the list if not for the fact that Roswaal shouldn't be on it at all. Daphne, Typhon, Vokchanica, Hector, and Clind are all on the list of people who are explicitly confirmed to be stronger than him. Cecilus and Wilhelm being on the list is also questionable since Cecilus was implied to have become much stronger in wrath if.

Besides, it's questionable if she could even do that normally to someone as powerful as him or if she just could because his power only comes from his authority. Willing someone out of existence is way beyond what we have seen her be able to do before and it is way more powerful than the things we've seen that she isn't able to do. At best if she could will someone out of existence she likely couldn't do it to powerful people like Roswaal, Emilia, and Puck. So far what we've seen that she can't do is: Open the seal Control the Black Serpent Control Emilia And to fully access Emilia's memories And like I mentioned, Echidna herself said that Emilia when she lost control was far more powerful than Pandora and by extension herself and Roswaal who are on par with Emilia at her max potential.
