Great video, and hope you feel better Mystic. Ampharos, Pikachu, Zebstrika, Raikou Lanturn, and Zapdos are my favorite electric-types. I literally had the most defensive Zapdos in Gen I with it having a moveset of Thunderbolt, Light Screen, Reflect, and Protect. Needless to say...people hated me, because they couldn't scratch my Zapdos, and it isn't any better, since at the time, its a better Electabuzz. Mystic...you would have hated me, if we had the technology we have now, compared to the late 90s-early 2000s.

Pawmot with ice punch is helpful against ground types, because it helped me take care of of some of the ground types who have a four times weakness to ice during pokemon Scarlett.

@@billdeco08 TL;DR: Steel Wing just isn't going to do meaningful damage. It would not be worth bothering with at all. But I'll elaborate below. Kilowattrel's stats lend itself most to a special attacking set. It's fast and not a super hard hitter, so you usually want to maximize Speed and Sp.Atk as much as possible. Trying to make it a mixed attacker will just make its life harder. So with that, a few simple damage calcs. Say we attack into Grimmsnarl, a reasonably common Pokémon in VGC and currently in Smogon's RU tier, same as Kilowattrel. It's got a defensive line of 95 HP, 65 Def, 75 Sp.Def. So slightly higher Sp.Def than Def. Uninvested, Hasty Nature Steel Wing gets the following numbers on uninvested Grimmsnarl: 0 Atk Kilowattrel Steel Wing vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Grimmsnarl-Gmax: 108-128 (32.6 - 38.6%) -- 98.5% chance to 3HKO You're not even fully ensured the 3HKO. Meanwhile... 0 SpA Kilowattrel Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Grimmsnarl-Gmax: 127-151 (38.3 - 45.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO Neutral effectiveness STAB Thunderbolt actually just does more damage at equal investment, against a Pokémon with slightly higher Sp.Def. Kilowattrel gets nothing out of a physical attack. Even a max Attack, Adamant Kilowattrel would not guarantee a 2-shot on Grimmsnarl, if you wanted to try that for whatever reason. ...At least give it Flash Cannon then, is really what I'm saying here, lol. But Kilowattrel is just a fairly middling Pokémon to begin with, unfortunately. I don't think more coverage alone would make it a contender for a top 10 like this.
