Over 500 000 russian soldiers are already killed, wounded, prisoners..and this war is maybe far from the end. Russian army needs more recruits. Ukrainian losses are probably smaller but they are also very high..

This video has a good warning message for the European leaders (if they are watching). Both the strength of the Russian army and the weakness of the NATO armies are exaggerated. It is not all numbers but also quality of equipment and personnel.

Russia 1st for reliance on tactics with high mortality rates (the good old meat grinder model), storing vast amounts of rotting Soviet-era armour (to bulk out its equipment numbers), massive internal corruption leaving fast jets without pilots, tanks without radios and troops eating food 10 years out of date whilst having to 'crowdfund' to buy their own equipment.

I just saw a utube stat yesterday, and it actually was on women in the Ukrainian military, 68k. By comparison, a Nato Allie Germany has an army of 62k. Just one more reason that Putin isn't intimated by Nato.

well, duh, a country at war (with the help of many many allies) has a larger military and more up to date experience than those allies. But let us not forget that there would be NO UKRAINE today without allies like the Baltics, the UK and Poland. The 350 million population of Europe will easily outnumber Ukraine's army if they ever find themselves at war. Personally I find this video annoying in that a lot of the West's weakness was caused by giving Ukraine all our ammunition, manpads, ATGMs and Air defence systems.
