What are your thoughts on the first two episodes of the Percy Jackson show!?

Overall loved it as an avid fan of the books some bits did feel bad for example Grover not saying 'fooood' while being carried up half blood hill and how Percy used riptide against the minotaur.

Not sure if this is limited to the 7, but I agree with your overall ranking if it is! I’d want to mention Will Solace’s ability to spread plagues/illness though, from what I’ve read, it’s not common for children of Apollo either

Great video! However, I do think this is more of a "coolest" abilities list. If it's a "coolest" abilities list, then I complete agree with you, but if it's a "strongest" list, then I complete disagree with you. There is absolutely NO WAY Franks power to turn into any creature, or Leo's fire control, or Jason's flying ability, or even Leo's technology genius is stronger than Percy's liquid control. I could see Piper MAYBE charming her way out of Percy's wrath, but it would be extremely close. Either way, Percy's liquid control is in NO WAY less powerful than the things I listed, and Franks shapeshifting control is just *chefs kiss* so cool!

It's technically just looking at them from a more objectives standpoint, like if anyone had the power and just ranking them based on the strength of the demigod because if it was Leo's fire ability would be higher considering it destroyed gaia's physical form at it's peak.

I like the show even though its not 100% accurate. The only thing I am not a fan off is Gabe and I dont see a lot of people talk about that. In the show he is not a person who would beat his wife and doesnt care. He seems human, and because of that I dont think he deserves whats coming for him in the end of the season. He is bad but not as bad as in the books

It's probably because it's a Disney+ show so they had to tone it down. Something I didn't like was how they portrayed Percy's attitude towards Poseidon

Why does posioden get shapeshifting and not Ares/Mars? frank is the only child (to my knowledge) that can shapeshift. Percy has never been shown to shapeshift. if you are baseing this on areas parentage then shouldn't zeus get the point?

I agree man! He has a list of the coolest abilities, not the most powerful! I agree that Charm Speak being the most powerful, but maybe not the "best". I think it is worth pointing out that in order for Piper to effectively charm speak someone, they need to be able to hear, and she needs to be able to concentrate. If someone knows what is coming, defeating Piper wouldn't be too difficult. On top of that, I never thought about how mist manipulation could be more powerful than liquid, but I whole heartedly agree. (Unless the mist in the books is literally mist... ) But, like Piper's charm speak, if someone knows what to look for, they could easily break through and do what ever needs to be done. Basically, all the powers are.. well... powerful, but some have obvious and easy to exploit weaknesses, like charmspeak. And others, like Percy's liquid control and Jason's lightning, are significantly less predictable and would require something a LOT more powerful than earbuds to deflect. Percy's liquid control could help him beat someone up, drown someone, or combust someone.
