Sandman , is probably the most dangerous Spider-Man villain. He can fill Spider-Man with sand until his body exploded. Not only that but he can become an avengers level threat if not taken seriously. Almost impossible to defeat without water unless Peter finds a specific sand molecule that controls the others. He’s not gonna make it easy. My favorite Spider-Man villain.

@@Kuro-kr8gb lol not just smart but you have to be quick too. Once he got atleast one sand particle in you , he can track and follow you where there’s no water around. Without water he’s unbeatable. And to be fair I meant more like against Hawkeye , Antman, Black Widow,, Wolverine, Hulk, and Captain America. Pretty much anyone who can’t fly away is doomed if not near water. Unfortunately Thor and tony got the advantage since they can fly away from him. If sandman managed to can get into Tony’s suit (before nanotech) and also ride on mjolnir before they flew away, he could definitely kill them.

@@purplevap0r845 yeah, after Eddie became the new god of the symbiotes the power Knull gave Carnage was stripped away so if he can't be a god then he'll evolve into something that kills gods. Cletus is long dead but his contiousness lives on in the Carnage symbiote, creating a rival symbiote hive against the main symbiote hive but Cletus changed his mind about becoming a god butcher so the symbiote rejected his contiousness into an offshoot symbiote. Carnage took Hydro-Man's dna to be able to take form without a host and Spot's powers so he can travel to other worlds throughout the universe in an effort to evolve into a god butcher. Meanwhile the offshoot symbiote that carries Cletus' contiousness bonded to a detective to help stop Carnage, not cause Cletus hates him just because he's bored and has nothing else to do. It's kinda sad cause the Carnage symbiote speaks so fondly of Cletus but believes he had to reject him in order to evolve. I believe Cletus will be will Carnage again somehow, they don't seem to hate each other just seems like a "it had to be done" situation.

Red goblin would be the perfect final boss for the 3rd Spider-Man game, tease carnage at the end of Spider-Man 2 and make green goblin the villain of the first half of Spider-Man 3 similar to how mr negative was in the first game then we fight carnage for the second half of the game but just before we beat carnage for good, green goblin shows back up and the symbiote bonds with him ditching Cletus. Could be a really cool way to finish the trilogy but also give a really strong final villain for Peter, Miles and probably Harry as Venom turned anti-hero to face together before (lets face it, its gonna happen) Peter dies in the battle.

Nerve strikes (with super strength) to take down Cage, and Iron Fist is simply outmatched physically. Neither of these two will even touch a serious Peter.

I recall that being temporary due to the carnage symbiote being inside of him. After it was removed and absorbed by Eddie, Spiderman loses that weakness.

Without a doubt, Morlun is Spiderman's deadliest villain. He pretty much terrorized Spidey and had him running for his life. And when they fought, Peter gave 100%, no one-liners, no holding back... and got beaten to a bloody pulp.

Rhino's been humiliated by Kaine and flatout beaten physically by post-Other Peter. Putting him above Carnage is a no-no. Scary on paper but, like Gargan, no feats to support it. Also, current Peter can go toe-to-toe with Venom (no god powers), and even come out on top unless it's Eddie behind the wheel. He's smacked around plenty of alternate hosts, including Flash Thompson and Gargan. The reason Sandman couldn't pull himself together was because Eddie literally ATE a piece of him. Other than that, I can pretty much agree with the list.

Well seeing how they referred to killing all the spider people as “The Great Hunt”, key word “Hunt” I think they viewed it as a sport as a whole, not just feeding. It’s similar to why do people enjoy the hobby of hunting in America, where everything you could hunt could probably be bought already skinned and ready to be cool. They want to experience what they know as “hunting”. So maybe, they could’ve done this but they wouldn’t have been as interesting or intense than fighting different versions of Spider-man through endless dimensions. Just a thought though, I could be wrong.

What about Kraven the hunter??? He put pete 8 foot under only to finally prove he could best him and to add insult to injury; he put spidey's suit to show he was a better spiderman. Took down every villain then killed himself when there was no one to challenge him. Forgot the comic that this is from but its a great read.
