The Ridges is a great village in Summerlin, but not everyone can afford it. I was choosing villages that were more for everyone else and not for just a select few.

Hey Angela, really enjoy your channel. Been doing a lot of research of retiring in Summerlin. Watching all your videos, Sun City Summerlin looks like the best fit. I’m having a hard time finding building restrictions in the community. I’d like to add on to an existing 2-3 bedroom home. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi there. That’s a tough one. Maybe call the Sun City HOA and see if they have any ideas. I would imagine building extra bedrooms in the community will be hard. I know people have converted covered patios as part of the house. You would have to get an approval from the HOA, along with the proper building permits.

Thank-you so much. I've been considering renting in Summerlin while I figured out the best village to buy in. I was thinking 55+ but there might be to many restrictions on having grandchildren visit. Your video has answered a lot of questions I had since doing my research online from San.Diego💜

There are a good mix of single family residential and condos/townhomes. But for SFR starting at $450k and above, depending on Village and house size.
