While the 90s animated series somewhat downplayed Jean’s abilities and powers, the truth is she has always been one of the strongest X-Men and mutants in the comics. She became even stronger when the mental blocks that Professor Xavier put in place were removed and the Phoenix Force merged with her.
She has become so skilled that she has grown to be more than just an omega-level telepath and telekinetic, uncovering even more powers and abilities within herself throughout her development. Cosmic Five well when u say telekinesis people believe that it's only the ability to move objects, that's the lowest level and the basic of telekinesis... If a user's telekinetic is on molecular level, then they can rearrange matter and energy on a molecular level. Transmutste objects, create black holes, enhance their psychical capabilities. It's basically matter manipulation

Some of my favorite Jean Grey moments: When Jean is resurrected by the Phoenix Force yet again; they finally TALK. Jean provides the Force with the best break up speech I've ever read. Another is in Xmen Red she utilizes empathy to "take down" Cassandra Nova. She has Cassandra feel (for the first time) all the suffering and all the joy that has been. Not to punish Nova, but to wake her up from her endless quest for mutant anniliation. Lastly, after she catches Emma in a psychic affair with Scott, she brings Emma back to life after she is killed by another mutant. She brings her back to life because Scott LOVES Emma. That takes the word empathy to a new level. She does this several times in the comics; making sure Emma and Scott are together. Amazing. Jean is empathy and love, in ACTION! Be well, all

Fun fact in the 60's she was described as having limitless psionic powers. Well before she became the Phoenix, it was during that time she mentally knocked out The Hulk and Juggernaut three latter of which compared her attack to Professor Xavier Xavier level!!

I believe in overall power Jean is stronger but because Xavier blocked that ability when she was younger and Emma Frost used hers longer maybe she isn't as skilled or creative with it as Emma.

@@wallisvictor9688 You clearly haven't heard about the time Jean mentally tortured Emma by forcing her to relive her most painful after she discovered Scott was mentally cheating on her with Emma. Emma Frost is known for being an incredibly skilled telepathic combatant. She also has psychic shields to prevent people from accessing her mind. If Jean can do that to someone as powerful as Emma she may as well be a goddess.

Jean Grey used her powers in the Age of Apocalypse universe to bring Wolverine and the Uncanny X-Force team from there back to their universe. So being able to teleport people to different dimensions is in her tool box.

Oscar Cantu Technically yes, but I feel like that would require an extreme knowledge/understanding of DNA. And even then, it would be different for each person. Basically it would be impossible for a single person, but it’s comics so I guess it’s possible.

When she first became "The Phoenix" it was because of exposure to "Cosmic Rays". (The same type (drawn the same in comic) of cosmic rays that changed the Fantastic For and the UFoe's.) And then absolute power corrupted absolutely.
