Interesting that more of these incidents were from Adelaide which was at the start of the championship year. And the biggest one of the year (in your perspective of course) was Whincup hitting Turn 8! I think it goes to show that this year was much tamer than the last couple of years. Gotta be thankful for that though. Been a few close ones in the last five years.

I agree, this year was very tame in comparison to some years. Good in a way as most big incidents tend to happen on the first lap and detract from the race, and also that the teams haven’t had to fork out much money this year to repair or replace cars.

@@hotwire96 Apart from the Super Ute rollover at Queensland and the Aussie Racing Car rollover at Winton, I don't even remember any big moments from the support categories either. Considering there seemed to be a massive accident in every round in something last year, that's good to see.

Mat Simpson Yeah there have been plenty of scary accidents this year. Floresch at Macau, WTCC at Portugal and Harrison Scott just to name a few. Can you think of more at the level of those accidents without being fatal?

The Percat and Coulthard was brutal. Also Caruso’s hit with the tyres. Ah yes Whincup crashing at Adelaide is the best one of all. Also can you do one for 2018 season. I’m not sure if you have already done it but I wanna see Hazlewoods crash at eastern creek because I was there and saw him go flying off the track at turn one. Got pictures but didn’t film it. Rip.
