Sacrifice, that ultimate gesture of selflessness. It’s when you give up what’s precious to you - your life perhaps, your happiness maybe - for someone else. The ability to sacrifice is a powerful testament to your character, a sign of courage and heroism. The world of movies is full of such acts of sacrifice. But there's something you should know, it’s not only heroes who make great sacrifices. Sometimes, a sacrifice comes from the least expected quarters. A murderous villain, for example. Such sacrifices might or might not be because of a change of heart or a noble awakening. Does it redeem the villain in question? That depends on the context. But one thing is for sure. Seeing an antagonist do something remarkably good and noble makes a powerful impact. Which is why in today’s video, we will be counting down the Top 10 Supervillain Sacrifices in Movies.

its basicly a darth sion thing but also his body wouldnt have survived anyways since the tech in his suit which was basiclly overloaded and nonfuntional after palps lightining consumed all of the suit therfore screwing it completely was another factor of keeping him alive it was a mixture of his hatred and the tech mainly his hatred but i definately get where your coming from there i think he found out later that palps lied about bringing her padme back which gave even more hatred

I wouldn't consider Raven a supervillain since the timeline was wiped out in DoFP in 2014. She was convinced by Charles in 1973 to not kill Trask. She was since then a goodie. The final time she was evil was in 2006 in the Last Stand (by timeline, it was wiped out in 1973). Edit: it's 1973, not 1974

Wow there is just SO much wrong with this list. 1st Dark Fate T-800 is a villain for like 5 minutes of the film, 2nd Jennifer Lawrence Mystique is not a villain and she didn't sacrifice herself she was straight up killed by Jean, 3rd Nebula the good killed Nebula the villain so no sacrifice there, 4th T-800 in Genisys didn't sacrifice himself he was upgraded to a T-1000, 5th T-800 in Judgement Day is not a villain, 6th Loki faked his death in Dark World so no sacrifice there, 7th Spiderman's Uncle was shot and killed no sacrifice there, and 8th Vader was killed by the emperor's lightning so calling that a sacrifice is kind of a stretch. You really only have two supervillains on this list who sacrifice themselves, Doc Oct and MAYBE Skurge if we consider him a "Super villain" and not just a coward.
