Perso j'adore cette approche des arts martiaux : développement de soi, maîtrise, et éventuellement de la défense. On est dans une recherche de force intérieure sans rechercher le combat, ce qui montre qu'on peut être fort sans être violent. Personally, I love this approach to martial arts: self-development, mastery, and eventually self-defense. It's about seeking inner strength without pursuing conflict, which shows you can be strong without being violent.

i love Tai Chi, but the problem with some of those moves is (e.g. 1:30), you have to be fast like hell to get your body in position for a throw ...your attaker has to only pull back his fist to get out of the danger...his fist movement is in most cases faster than your body movement...

"Thank you for that"... Master Wong, love your vids. I've been doing Wing Chun for some time, I can see some principles, similarities for these attack examples. There is good flow and rooting, pivoting, you power through an attack from the ground up, and you often have pull and push forces into the opponent. WC techniques like tan sau, huen sau, po pi palms, lap sau, elbows, turning jut sau, etc. would work similarly. I love watching you use internal energy, instant force, speed, and relaxation in your techniques. Tai chi looks so beautiful and flowing to boot.

It seems that your chi is resonating more in the storing of potential energy, and release into the most efficient discharge of kinetic energy. Yes it's chi, but scientifically, it can best be evaluated as the scientific theories of potential and kinetic energy.
@masterwong10110 ай бұрын
Ah, you've touched upon an interesting concept, my friend. In my experience, harnessing chi involves understanding the balance between potential and kinetic energy. It's about purity of intent in channeling that energy effectively. Remember, the way you do anything is the way you do everything. For more insights, check out our full program on the website.

@@masterwong101 Are you based in Seattle? I take it you are impressed with my analysis, and see me as having a good foundation of fundamental understanding of Chi, and the connection of Chi to both types of energy.
