To me it seems more like Ralf felt lost right there, not embarrassed. Maybe even thinking like _I'm not gonna cry, my brother's crying, I'm not gonna cry_ . He could only imagine what his brother has been through and Michael breaking down in tears probably came out of the blue, and he just didn't know how to react.

@canicetang8837
@canicetang8837 4 жыл бұрын
Poor Felipe also cried on the top of the Podium at Interlagos 2008 after he lost out the title to Lewis by a single point. That being said, probably one of the saddest moment in Carlos Sainz Sr. lost his engine 500 metres from the finish in fourth place. Had he maintained that position, he would had been World Rally Champion by a point over his rival, the great Tommi Makinen. But instead, Makinen won his third title in a row before getting his fourth in a row in 1999. JR Hildebrand's crash on the last corner of the last lap while leading the Indy 500 in 2011 was the most heartbreaking, allowing Dan Wheldon to win the race while JR's crashed car survived to finish second.

Senna's Mclaren lost all the gears except the 6th. So he had to do everything physically to adapt without the car stalling. When he finished the race, he was exhausted and cramps built in. So he was both happy but also screaming in pain. He couldn't even hold his winning trophy on the podium because he wore out completely.

Rubens was probably the most popular guy on the grid with everyone - teams, drivers, crowds. What tainted him was being the obvious number 2 to Schumacher. We all wanted him to show us what he could do, and unfortunately, it wasn't until he was in the Brawn and had 'equal billing' with JB did we really get to see it. And damn, he was a great driver. He'd have had numerous wins more had he been allowed at Ferrari.

Only in Brazil he’s seen like that. Barrichello is the best modern driver not to win the championship. The development and set up of the fabulous Ferrari cars of that era were done by him. I don’t wanna watch this. My anxiety is going haywire and I’ve had enough sleepless nights trying to digest that grazie ragazzi would stop existing from 2021. Edit: Okay, there were more happy tears than sad ones. Seb’s 2010 radio manages to reduce me into a bucket of sad AND happy tears every single time. I don’t think there has been one time that I have not cried watching it.
