@smith lovy I did, the show Kemper is alot more scary. But I think that's whats scary about real life Kemper aswell, he's not typically scary so you easily forget what he did and could do if he was out of prison. Like the fact that he'd probably still be out there if he hadnt turned himself in. Creepy.

Joshua Meadus The biggest monsters are the writers who keep dragging down the series with unnecessary romances (Holden season 1, Wendy season 2) and the heavy handed comparison between Bill’s son and the childhoods of the killers they’re interviewing. Without those dull subplots that went nowhere, the series would have been a lean, intense perfect 10.

David Fincher said that for the amount of views it got, it was an expensive show. Meaning, it just wasn't viable for the show to continue without having a larger audience. So the only course we can take is to get our friends and family to watch the show too! That's the only way we can even get a shot of season 3 happening.

@@LSSYLondon one of the adults murdered (Porter iirc) was homeless because a child relative said he molested them. It could be a coincidence (that kind of thing is sadly not uncommon). It’s a case with a lot of red herrings (“Uncle Tom” Terrell, Wilcoxen, Jamie Brooks and Calvin Smith, etc.) but I think they got at least one of the killers. The people who think Wayne is innocent can’t agree on how long Nathaniel Cater was dead before his body was found; some of them say he‘d been dead for north of 2 weeks and some say he died after Wayne was stopped crossing the bridge. My belief: the splash they heard was Nate’s body, and Wayne Williams dropped it. Contrary to claims that he couldn’t have crossed the bridge without the task force hearing it before the splash, the DA bussed the jury to the scene and recreated it exactly as it was purported to have happened. Chet Dettlinger’s research doesn’t vindicate Wayne at all; if anything, it supports John Douglas’s theory was he was one of multiple child killers that possibly moved in the same circles.
@Myuewtube

@@quintonmoad4418 the water in jackson bridge is low. The flow is very slow and steady. The area nah have been VERY rural and low traffic then so it won't speak on it but damn it something ain't right. And why do people think be did some of the child murders when no evidence what so ever is present. The fibers is bulk shit ( c'mon a small fiber handing in the side of a chick taylor) that matched how his carpet looked under a microscope. I'm here to tell you all low income carpets in ATL public housing looked the same if you were lucky enough to even have it. The neck ties thingy and gloves never went into evidence it was hersay. I believe if it was real they would have collected it. Idk. And remember the bridge thing was a grown man. Much bigger than him. This man was 5'5 like a buck 50. And it was a some one with him when he was stopped a minor who they never mention or bring up who he was recording music with. Yea that's kinda weird but that guy is alive and says he never tried him in any way never have creepy vibes . Idk i just know something is not right. Also no one in the hood never mentioned seeing this man. Not saying he innocent but they damn sure did not prove it. They jus so happen to be on a bridge , SOUTH COBB PARKWAY at that time of morning. What kids are out that time of day. None!
@quintonmoad4418
@quintonmoad4418 3 жыл бұрын
@@Myuewtube but WW weighed more than Nathaniel Cater. It’s not that hard to take something that weighs 150 lbs and roll it off the side of a bridge, especially when you have more weight of your own to leverage against it. It’s also not hard to get an adult man into your car when he’s a) a sex worker; and b) a drunk. Nate (R.I.P.) was by his family’s admission, the neighborhood trick and the neighborhood lush. And there was more than one fiber; the fibers matched not only his carpet, but at least one bedsheet and other things in the Williams home. The dog hair is a little more suspect because they were originally looking for a Malamute or a Siberian Husky and Homer’s dog was a German Shepherd; so I can understand why somebody isn’t totally satisfied with that. People at Techwood Homes and other neighborhoods the children disappeared from did, in fact, remember Wayne. They remembered him as being bright and ambitious but he did have connections with those places. And a lot of the documentaries almost sympathetic to Wayne and emphasizing that Yusuf and Patrick Baltazar’s family think he’s innocent omit that the families of Patrick Rogers and Nathaniel Cater remain convinced of his guilt 40 years later. Patrick Rogers’ mother said Patrick was meeting a talent agent at Cap’n Peg’s the day he disappeared; Cap’n Peg’s street address was conspicuously given as the business address on the flyers Wayne kept and handed out. I agree with you insofar that there’s a lot not right with the case; but going from “WW didn’t kill all of them” to “WW didn’t kill any of them” is hard for me to do. I think, all told, he murdered 11 boys and young men to include Jimmy Ray Payne and Nathaniel Cater. I think more than one person got away with murder and there are some scary loose ends (Jamie Brooks being the most unpleasant one, although polygraphs are complete garbage and I’d never use his or Wayne’s against either one because they’re notoriously misleading).

Season 2 began and ended strongly but Season 1 was definitely superior. In 2 Carr's storyline was weak, Ford was minimized and only Tench matched his interest level from season 1. Greg was also suspiciously absent in the last few episodes. The team apparently have greater funding now but progressed little as far as the study. More happened in season 1 and what happened felt more impactful, the interviews especially.
@fat_old_sun
@fat_old_sun 4 жыл бұрын
I agree. The interviews felt a bit routine while in season 1 they were actively driving the plot forward. And I was so much looking forward to the big climactic questioning of Williams in court when the prosecution together with the BSU was struggling to make Williams stop acting like an indignant innocent lamb suffering from outrageous and false accusations. They were exhausting him with questions about all kinds of minutest details for hours, and then all of a sudden slapped him with a question out of nowhere about how he felt murdering the kids. And then he showed his real face. In the book it's quite an intense moment: «I said to Mallard, "Remember the old TV show» «This Is Your Life?" You’ve got to do that with him. You’ve got to keep him on the stand as long as you can, you’ve got to break him down. Because he’s an overcontrolled, rigid personality, he’s an obsessive-compulsive. And to get to that rigidity, you have to keep the pressure on him, sustain the tension by going through every aspect of his life, even stuff that doesn’t seem to mean anything, like where he went to school. Just keep it up. Then, when you’ve worn him down, you have to physically touch him, just like Al Binder did. What’s good for the defense is good for the prosecution. Move in close, violate his space, and catch him off guard. Before the defense has the opportunity to object, ask him in a low voice, "Did you panic, Wayne, when you killed these kids?" And when the time comes, that’s just what Mallard does. For the first several hours of cross-examination, he can’t rattle Williams. He catches him up in a number of glaring inconsistencies, but it’s the same calm, "How could it possibly be me?" Williams. The gray-haired, gray-suited Mallard methodically goes through his whole life, then at the right time, he goes in close, puts his hand on Williams’s arm, and in a low, methodical south-Georgia drawl says, "What was it like, Wayne? What was it like when you wrapped your fingers around the victim’s throat? Did you panic? Did you panic?" And in a weak voice of his own, Williams says, "No." Then he catches himself. He flies into a rage. He points his finger at me and screams, "You’re trying your best to make me fit that FBI profile, and I’m not going to help you do it!» John Douglas, Mark Olshaker. «Mindhunter»

It is apparently inspired by real life events. Two boys beat one toddler with a brick and later crucified him, hoping he will be resurectted. We see in the begining that he started to finally act like a normal child, he even spoke to Bill(in season1 he didn't) and said he played with some kids and seemed happy. They are a church going ppl so his idea was to crucify him and no normal child would come to such idea. Also, what do you guys think; why didn't Nancy let the mother of murdered toddler speak with Brian?(Sorry for my bad English)

I am completely hooked on this series--can't stop watching it. I'm kind of a behavioral science nerd so listening to these serial killers is fascinating. As the team looks for commonality among serial killers and find common threads like overbearing mothers, absentee fathers and the emotional, mental and physical abuse these people suffer as they are asked a series of questions that is supposed to shine a spotlight on WHY these people grew up to do the things they do, the scientific nerd inside me is also wondering why children who grow up in the exact same kinds of environments suffering the same kinds of abuse DON'T focus that rage at other people and go about living very average, normal lives never hurting a flea. Now that would be a show I'd watch as well. What is that thing that keeps an abused child from growing up to be a monster?
