These are all really good...I would apply this to the home church I was a part of for 5 yrs. and why it never grew at all. Really like #1 & #2, especially that the kids would see and hear what God is doing.

Matt, maybe you’ve implied this by the comment on training, but I would clarify by saying that such training would include helping members to discover, develop, and utilize their Spiritual Gifts. The goal should be towards implementing an every-member ministry in fulfillment of their individual callings.

100%. I have an APEST tool from eph 4:11 I give out. It in on the training platform. Great point and super important.

Part of the training you are speaking of would include teaching the church that they are a part of the service. In other words that they have an active part in worship, testimonies, sharing what God has shown them or done in their lives, etc. To come with the idea that they are a part of the service and to come prepared to share God's teaching and movement in their lives that ultimately effects the body of Christ.
