Eating healthy is not expensive compared to boxed, canned, or prepared meals… Frankly, I just don’t think most people know how to bake and cook… I saw pizza dough for $4 at Sprouts and was like why, that is less than $1 of flour and water, bread for $6-7 for a small loaf when you could make that at home for probably $1-2 and it would taste so much better; same for tortillas… Not hard to clip coupons or, my favorite, hit a local Asian market… Not as large as chain grocery stores, aisles are small, but items like scallions, herbs (chives, thyme) and most vegetables, peeled garlic, etc. are a sometimes as much as half the price of the chain store… Also, I hit the chain grocery stores early morning, around 7-10, as you can find meats with a discount between 30-50% that is still good for a day or two… It just takes some planning, which I am sure takes away from video game time for many people…

Some people also have to look at the sodium content as well content, etc. People who have had a kidney transplant might not be able to eat these foods. I do eat a healthy diet and always read labels. Just some food for thought.

The hardest thing about eating clean, organic is it’s so expensive even more so now it’s almost impossible to feed an entire family, let alone a single person. It’s an injustice! Also, there’s nothing out there anyone has for flavored coffee syrups! The information just becomes so overwhelming 😩🤯. I think the health food industry has profited so largely it’s disgusting 🤮 . There’s still chemicals in “ clean “ and “ organic “. Why doesn’t anyone have the guts to have a real discussion about this?
