hi, this is a fab video thank you, youve given lots of info and ideas here. my brother and i are hoping to move back to the north east in the not too distant future, we lived there as kids and as a teen for me and holiday regularly in Northumberland and have been redoscovoering tyneside and wearside recently and love the north east. having a dog its a fabulous place for them too!

We are from London and made the jump almost randomly, but from what i can tell talking to people is that the north east is certainly growing and improving rapidly. We love it in the NE and would never consider london again! It seems to be the trend since covid that people are moving back up in numbers, or londoners escaping the city. I guess that this means that the next housing boom might be in the NE as it starts to catch-up with the south a little more. We have been focusing on a van build recently, but this is nearly complete so we will be back to exploring and making more content on the local/semi-local area. If you havent already please subscribe so you dont miss these :)

juat subbed thank you for the heads up. I've noticed that some areas are waaaaaay above what we could afford and others are so reasonable I look twice to check! Sunderland where we lived in the 80s seems to have grown massively and I'm struggling to find anything within our budget but I'd like to be not far away. I want to be sure of the area too as my brother has mental health condition and I want us to feel safe. seems to me that the NE is very much under a period of growth and development and is up and coming.

Does the deer park have public toilets pls?
@MovingNorthEast Жыл бұрын
Not that i know of, but i would guess you would be parking in the high-street as the park is very close to the high-street that has many cafes bars, town hall, tourism ticket offices, and places that would have toilets available generally. The park itself is just past Auckland Castle, or Auckland tower. We park in the main car park near to the town hall and its a five min walk to the park from the town hall.

Unless it's a tourist hotspot or major town/city all the high streets are no longer nice in the UK. We all bow to the king.. Amazon

The attractions where in the general area. What do you think we have missed in Bishop Auckland itself? Is there anything you recommend?
